<em>In the 21st century, the use of gadgets is increasing. Many advantages are offered with advances in increasingly sophisticated technology. It is not spared from that most of the use of gadgets is even misused by children of Primary Education age. Basically, the use of gadgets by minors starts from the family environment itself. If at the time the children are addicted to gadgets will cause growth retardation and other psychological disorders. This study aims to analyze the role of parents in the use of gadgets by Primary Education age children. The research method is a literature study. The results of the study are the role of parents as first and foremost educators for children is very important to control the use of gadgets in everyday life carried out by children. The conclusion of this research is the role of parents greatly influences the use of gadgets for Primary Education age children</em>
<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The study aimed to describe the school principal's leadership to improve teacher’s performance at SD Negeri 4 Kalibagor. It used qualitative research method with case study approach. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and document. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and verification.The results showed that the school principal's leadership to improve teacher’s performance at SD Negeri 4 Kalibagor met the excellent category as educator, manager, administrator, leader, and motivator.As a supervisor and innovator, the principal was in the sufficient category. Principal improved teacher’s performance through lesson plans, learning implementation, and learning evaluation. The obstacles faced by school principal were: (1) the teachers lacked of discipline, (2) the teachers used conventional learning methods and materials,</em><em>and </em><em>(3) the teachers lacked of motivation. The efforts to overcome the obstacles were: (1) being a good role model, (2) providing training,</em><em>and </em><em>(3) giving reward. It concludes that the principal's leadership to improve teacher’s performance at SD Negeri 4 Kalibagormeets good category.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>: leadership, school principal, teache</em><em>r’s</em><em> performance<strong></strong></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di SD Negeri 4 Kalibagor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis data kualitatif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di SD Negeri 4 Kalibagor dilaksanakan dengan kategori sangat baik sebagai <em>educator</em>, manajer, administrator, <em>leader</em>, dan motivator sedangkan sebagai supervisor dan inovator kepala sekolah masuk kategori cukup. Kepala sekolah meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah: (1) kurangnya disiplin; (2) guru menggunakan metode dan media pembelajaran konvensional; (3) kurangnya motivasi. Upaya untuk mengatasi kendala: (1) menjadi teladan yang baik; (2) memberikan pelatihan; (3) memberikan penghargaan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian kepemimpinan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di SD Negeri 4 Kalibagor dalam kategori baik.</p><strong>Kata kunci:</strong> <em>kepemimpinan, kepala sekolah, kinerja guru </em>
