Communication on various information about the patient's progress is a fundamental component in patient safety. Transfer information in handover is essential to ensure the effectiveness and safety in patient care. The purpose of this research is to know the a relationship between handover with patient safety. The methods of this research used analytic correlative with cross sectional approach. This research used total sampling that invited 62 nurses at Sidawangi Hospital West Java Province to participate. Collecting data using closed questionnaire. Data were analyzed using chi square. The result of research showed 53.2 % nurses is implement handover included of good category and 51.6% patient safety included of good category. Statistical test showed a significant relationship between the implementation of the handover with patient safety in the hospital (p 0.04). It concluded that that the handover contributes to patient safety in hospitals.
Surgical intervention of transurethral resection of the prostate can cause pain and trauma. The use of non-pharmacological and pharmacology therapy can be used to reduce pain intensity in patients post-surgery. Benson Relaxation is a non-pharmacological therapy involving patient confidence factor for achieving health and welfare conditions is higher. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Benson relaxation to pain intensity in patients with TURP intervention. The experiment study with randomized pretest-posttest control group design was conducted. Total sampling technique obtained 14 patients TURP divided into 2 groups. The control group was administered with analgesics and the treatment accepted analgesics and Benson relaxation. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and independent t-test. The results showed that administration of analgesics cannot reduce pain intensity (p 0.156), while the combination of Benson relaxation and analgesics can reduce pain intensity among TURP patients (p 0.002). Independent t-test confirmed that the combination therapy of relaxation Benson and analgesics can reduce pain intensity in patients TURP compared analgesic administer only (p 0.0170. The conclusion is the combination of Benson relaxation and analgesics can reduce pain intensity among TURP patients. Keyword: Pain intensity, Benson relaxation, transurethral resection of the prostate ABSTRAKTindakan pembedahan transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) dapat menyebabkan nyeri dan trauma. <p>Elevated cholesterol level is one of the risks for cardiovascular disease in diabetes mellitus. Exercise is one of therapy in patients with diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of exercise on decrease cholesterol levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. This study used pre-post test one group design. Twenty-two patients with diabetes mellitus followed the intervention which is a twice a week exercise for 4 weeks. Cholesterol levels were measured before and after exercise. Data were analyzed by dependent T-test. Cholesterol levels in patients with  diabetes mellitus before the exercise reached 261.18±49.013 mg/dL and after intervention decreased to 224.41±26 mg/dL. Dependent t-test showed differences in cholesterol levels before and after exercise in patients with diabetes mellitus (p<0.05). Exercise can lower cholesterol levels in patients with diabetes mellitus.</p>

Gangrenous wound healing is influenced by age, nutrition, wound care. The general objective of this study to determine the factors that affect wound healing in diabetes mellitus gangrene in inpatient hospital DR.Pirngadi Medan in 2015. This research uses descriptive method with cross sectional study design. With accidential sampling techniques, sample size studied 20 respondents. Data collected by using observation sheets and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed manually through editing, coding, and tabulating presented in frequency distribution. Conclusion: gangrenous wound healing respondents said recovered as many as 17 people (85%), based on age ie 40-50 years as many as 10 people (50%) based nutrients are met as many as 14 people (70%), based on those wounds care done correctly by 20 (100%).
