Kita harus menyadari bahwa membaca mempunyai peranan sosial yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia sepanjang masa. Mengapa demikian? Pertama, membaca itu merupakan suatu alat komunikasi yang sangat di perlukan dalam suatu masyarakat berbudaya. Kedua bahan bacaan yang dihasilkan dalam setiap kurun kurun zaman dalam sejarah sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang sosial tempatnya berkembang itu. Ketiga, sepanjang masa sejarah yang terekam, membaca telah membuahkan dua kutub yang amat berbeda. Kutub pertama adalah membaca merupakan suatu pemersatu yang baik, karena cenderung mempersatukan pengalaman umum yang seolah-olah dialami sendiri dan dengan menanamkan sikap-sikap, ide-ide, minat-minat, dan aspirasi-aspirasi umum. Kutub kedua, membaca itu telah bertindak sebagai suatu daya pemecah belah, yang senderung mempertajam perbedaan-perbedaan antar kelompok sosial dengan jalan merangsang serta mempertebal perbedaan pendapat-pendapat mereka. Demikianlah,membaca itu telah membuahkan kutub-kutub yang baik yang kontruktif maupun destruktif.
This paper explained about the language acquisition of the infant and child. The language acquisition involved the research method and language development. Some researcher conducted the research by using some methods and designs such as diary and parental report, interview, observation, and experiment. The researcher also identified the process of childrens’ language acquisition and also identified the process of acquisition. In this paper also describe the speech perception development, process of language acquisition from phonology, sintaxis, and lexical. Not only explained about the process and kinds of childreens’ language acquisition but also it is explained the way child give the sense of the words or related to pragmatic.Keywords: Language Acquisition
AbstrakPelabuhan Belawan terletak di Kota Medan Provinsi Sumetera Utara. Pelabuhan Belawan merupakan salah satu pelabuhan yang memiliki peranan penting, karena letaknya yang berada di Selat Malaka yang berbatasan langsung dengan Negara Malaysia dan Thailand, dan Pulau Sumatera Indonesia. Alur pelayaran Pelabuhan Belawan mengalami sedimentasi yang cukup signifikan setiap tahunnya, yang berasal dari sedimen litoral. Solusi teknis yang disarankan untuk mencegah sedimentasi tersebut adalah bangunan pemecah gelombang atau breakwater di kedua sisi alur pelayaran, jenis rubble mound.Dalam desain rubble mound breakwater, hal yang sangat penting adalah menentukan tinggi gelombang desain yang tepat sebagai input perhitungan berat armor yang akan digunakan. Tinggi gelombang desain merupakan tinggi gelombang periode ulang tertentu di lokasi struktur, yang mana gelombang tersebut telah mengalami transformasi selama perambatannya dari laut dalam. Data gelombang yang digunakan adalah periode dan tinggi gelombang yang merupakan hasil proses hindcasting data angina jam-jaman selama 10 tahun. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis gelombang ekstrim yang hasilnya berupa tinggi gelombang berbagai periode ulang untuk setiap arah, dimana tinggi gelombang periode ulang 100 tahun akan dimodelkan transformasinya menggunakan software 2D. Berdasarkan hasil pemodelan transformasi gelombang ini, maka didapatkan tinggi gelombang desain untuk perencanaan rubble mound breakwater Pelabuhan Belawan.Kata kunci: tinggi gelombang desain, transformasi gelombang, rubblemound breakwater Abstract Belawan Port is located in Medan, North Sumetera Province. Belawan Port is one of the ports that has an important role, because it is located in the Malacca Strait which borders Malaysia and Thailand, and Sumatra Island Indonesia. The Belawan Port navigation channel has significant sedimentation every year, which comes from litoral sediments. The proposed technical solutions to prevent sedimentation are breakwater structures on both sides of the navigation channel, rubble mound type.In the rubble mound breakwater design, the most important parameter is the appropriate design wave height as input for calculating the weight of the armor. Design wave height is a certain return period wave height at the structure location, where the wave has transformed during its propagation from the deep sea. The wave data used is the period and wave height which is the result of the hindcasting process for 10 years of wind data. Furthermore, extreme wave analysis is carried out in the form of various return periods for each direction, which the 100-year return period wave height will be modeled using 2D software. Based on the results of this wave transformation model, the design wave height for calculating the armor of the rubble mound breakwater was obtained.
Knowing the development of fine motoric skills through imitation activities in early childhood is the goal of the results of this classroom action research (PTK), through direct research with a sample of group B at PAUD ArRohman East Jakarta for the 2018/2019 academic year. The method used is the method of imitating writing, data collection techniques by observation and documentation. This research was conducted in 3 cycles in 3 days. The research consisted of 4 stages, namely: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The first cycle is meeting. The comparative analysis technique is to compare the child's ability for each cycle, namely the percentage of success. The results of this study showed that there was an increase of 5% per cycle, namely the end of the results there were 37 students who experienced a significant increase in writing, compared to the initial observation, and only 17 students out of 40 were able to write. This shows that the fine motoric skills of children have increased through imitating writing activities. This can be seen from the percentage of the results of the observation of children's fine motoric skills. Keywords: Children's Fine Motoric, Writing Imitation Method, PTK.
