Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has made the public, especially post partum mothers, anxious and limited in their activities due to the application of the principle of social distancing through the policy of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social distancing policies and maternal anxiety in implementing infant care during the Covid-19 pandemic Methods: This type of research is an analytic survey using a cross sectional design. The sample is post partum mothers who gave birth on November 1 to November 27, 2021 totaling 33 people. Data analysis using Chi Square. Results: The results of the study were obtained from 33 post partum mothers (100%), the majority felt anxious as many as 26 people (78.8%) and felt not anxious as many as 7 people (21.2%). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between social distancing policies and maternal anxiety in the implementation of babysitting during the Covid-19 pandemic Conclusion: attention from mothers as often as possible so that mothers also get experience in caring for babies while at the clinic, and mothers and babies get inner closeness
<em>Cervical cancer is the number two cause of death of women in the world. Cervical cancer that affects 70% of women is caused by HPV virus types 16 and 18. So that prevention of cervical cancer can be done by administering HPV immunization. The success rate in giving HPV immunization can reach 100% if given as much as 2 times in children aged 9-15 years and has never been infected with HPV. This study aims to determine the perception of mothers about HPV immunization in children for the prevention of cervical cancer early in the District of East Medan. The study used a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. Informants in the study were 33 mothers. Data collection in this study uses interview techniques. The results showed that mothers had positive perceptions about HPV immunization, where after interviews were obtained 30 (90.9%) mothers had positive perceptions about HPV immunization and 3 (9.09%) mothers had negative perceptions about HPV immunization in children for prevention of cervical cancer. Conclusion The mother has a positive perception where there are four themes that influence the mother's perception of HPV immunization in children for cervical cancer prevention, namely information, government participation, content and costs of HPV immunization</em>
Senam hamil adalah terapi latihan gerak untuk mempersiapkan ibu hamil, secara fisik atau mental, padapersalinan cepat, aman dan spontan. Mulai dari usia kehamilan 28 minggu s/d saat menjelang persalinan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang manfaat senam hamildengan tindakan senam hamil di klinik Hj. Mera Medan tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitikdengan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan besar sampel 36 orang dengan metode pengambilan sampelaccidental sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 31 Mei 2018 sampai 2 Juni 2018.Instrumendalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner yang meliputi data demografi, pernyataan pengetahuan dan pernyataantindakan senam hamil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas ibu hamil berpengetahuan baik sebanyak 29orang (80,6%) dan yang melakukan tindakan senam hamil sebanyak 19 orang (52,8 %). Setelah di lakukanuji fisher exact disimpulkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang manfaatsenam hamil dengan tindakan senam hamil karena p value < 0.05 atau (0.002 < 0.05). Diharapkan tenagakesehatan lebih meningkatkan penyuluhan-penyuluhan yang dilakukan di seluruh klinik sehingga ibu hamilmemiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang manfaat senam hamil dan ibu hamil mau melakukan senamhamil
Cervical cancer is the second major cancer, after breast cancer, for childbearing age women. The are many new cases of cervical cancer in which 50% resulted in the patient death. Cervical cancer can be cured if detected quickly. IVA is a simple method that is able to be used for early detection in “Puskesmasâ€, relatively fast and accurate. The objectives of this study was to determine the perception of childbearing age women towards IVA for early detection of cervical cancer in “ Kelurahan Helvetia Tengah, Kecamatan Medan Helvetia. This research used qualitative design based on case study approach. There were 11 people samples (10 women of childbearing age and 1 person, a Helvetia health center employee. The results showed that the fertile women in Helvetia village had a positive perception about IVA for early detection of cervical cancer. However, they were reluctant to check IVA because afraid of the diseases. The conclusion is that clear information of IVA and cervical cancer is very important thing that should be understood by the childbearing age women.
