Sexual harassment is identified as a major and hidden public health problem in most institutions/organizations. Sexual harassment is often a hidden problem because victims are usually reluctant to report their experiences. Using data based on interviews and surveys, this study explores the effects of gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, age at enrollment, student status, and time spent at the institution on students' risk of being victims of sexual harassment by peers and faculty/staff, as well as the extent of victimization of students who experience harassment. Then traditional undergraduate students, college students, and gender and sexual minority students were found to be at increased risk of harassment. Being female increases the chances of being sexually harassed by lecturers/staff and peers. Students who have racial minorities reported less sexual harassment, but would experience high pressure from the perpetrators and the surrounding community if they did report. This research is expected to find a way to create policies on cases of violence and sexual harassment in educational institutions.
The Independent Learning-Independent Campus Policy was issued by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim. The policy aims to improve the competence of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, to be more prepared and relevant to the needs of the times, to prepare graduates as future leaders of the nation with excellent and personalities. "Freedom of Learning, Independent Campus" policy includes the opening of new study programs, a higher education accreditation system, the freedom to become a PTN-BH, and the right to study for three semesters outside the study program. This policy of the Minister of Education and Culture deserves to be called a reasonably extreme change. This then raises some doubts in the minds of academics. The method used by the author in this study is a literature study approach. In this method, data is collected through a literature study, analyzed, and presented in the discussion. The study results show that the visionary policy of the Minister of Education and Culture deserves to be appreciated. Still, several problems arise from implementing the "Independent Learning, Independent Campus" policy that must be immediately resolved.
To meet the various needs of its people, a country will carry out public services so that then goods, services, and various administrative services needed can be fulfilled. This certainly needs to be done because the effectiveness of a government system will be determined mainly by the quality of the implementation of public services from the state to its people. This research will use a qualitative approach with research data sources and previous studies. The study results show that good governance can be achieved through the participation of various holders of positions in government. Then good public service will show that the performance of government management has good quality. The improvements that can be implemented to improve public services include accelerating the formation of public service law, establishing one-stop services, transparency of public service costs, making SOPs, and implementing reforms for employees working in the public service sector.
The role of education in the moral development of students is very strategic because shaping the morale of practical students can only be done through education; in this case, school members (principals, teachers, employees, and students) have a significant role in the development of character values. And student morale. Therefore, as a manager and leader, the principal is responsible for translating and implementing educational policies to shape the nature and morals of students, in this case, minimizing juvenile delinquency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational policies in overcoming juvenile delinquency. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research approach to document/text studies. The study results show that in realizing the successful implementation of educational policies to overcome juvenile delinquency, three things can be influenced: the logic used by a policy, the nature of the cooperation needed, and substantial human resources. Besides that, in the elaboration of implementation, it will be successful if it also pays attention to communication, resources, school residents' attitudes, and the prevailing bureaucratic structure.Keywords: Education Policy, Students, Juvenile Delinquency. AbstrakPeran pendidikan dalam pengembangan moral siswa sangat strategis karena pembentukan moral siswa praktis hanya dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan; dalam hal ini warga sekolah (kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan, dan siswa) memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter. Dan moral siswa. Oleh karena itu, sebagai manajer dan pemimpin, kepala sekolah bertanggung jawab menerjemahkan dan melaksanakan kebijakan pendidikan untuk membentuk watak dan akhlak siswa, dalam hal ini meminimalkan kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pendidikan dalam mengatasi kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi dokumen/teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam mewujudkan keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan pendidikan untuk mengatasi kenakalan remaja, ada tiga hal yang dapat dipengaruhi: logika yang digunakan oleh suatu kebijakan, sifat kerjasama yang dibutuhkan, dan sumber daya manusia yang cukup besar. Selain itu, dalam penjabaran pelaksanaannya akan berhasil jika juga memperhatikan komunikasi, sumber daya, sikap warga sekolah, dan struktur birokrasi yang berlaku.Kata kunci: Kebijakan Pendidikan, Siswa, Kenakalan Remaja.
