Writing this paper aims to create a directory of locations for skateboarding in West Sumatra. The method used in this paper is descriptive research, which examines a group of people, an object, a condition, a thought, or a class of events in the present. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and literature study. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded as follows. First, the obstacles in making a skateboarding directory location in West Sumatra can be described as follows. (a) the writer has difficulty finding a clear place about the location of skateboarding. These constraints are due to the absence of a clear pointer or direction to a skateboarding location. (b) the distance from the downtown or downtown. These constraints are due to inadequate access to locations. The author must ask and explain to the surrounding community in detail in a location in order to get to the point where to skateboard. (c), the authors find it difficult to find the right sources for more detailed information on a skateboarding location. The existence of these obstacles is due to ignorance of the community and skateboarding community about the place. The author only gets some clear information when making observations. Second, the author's attempt to do so is as follows. (a) the author does his best to make clear road and road directions to a skateboarding location with the help of the surrounding community and the communities in the place. With the help of the community and community in making instructions at a predetermined point or better known by the community. (b) the author tries to minimize the distance to the location of skateboarding by asking the informant or the right informant at a skateboarding location. (c) the author tries his best to do interviews with several people to get clear and precise information about a skateboarding location. The purpose of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity is to solve school library problems in the application of information technology by providing understanding and skills in information technology-based school library management using the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) 9 Bulian application in accordance with the standards set for librarians or teachers. placed in the school library. In this activity, problems will be completely solved starting from understanding concepts and carrying out school library management practices by implementing a library automation system using the SLiMS 9 application. Judging from the priority problems set, the target output of the activity is that the librarian of SMPN 4 Lubuk Alung, Padang Pariaman is able to : (1) understand the meaning, nature, and function of information technology-based school libraries. At the end of the activity, a minimum of 75% of the PKM activity material can be mastered; (2) apply the knowledge gained in the management of an automated school library; and (3) the output target in the form of a process is that the SLiMS 9 application has been installed and used as a tool to replace various routine work in the library and library managers know and take advantage of various SLiMS 9 features that have been learned during the training, such as: data entry, label creation, barcoding, circulation services, membership, reporting, browsing, heading and subjecting. There is an increase in the ability of the target audience in understanding the understanding, concepts, and processes of managing and utilizing information technology-based school libraries.
IbM program aims to provide understanding to partners about the concept and implementation of library management in accordance with library management procedures. The targets to be achieved are as follows. 1) Improving the quality of library staff in managing the library through the manterhadap the nature of the library. A minimum of 75 training materials can be mastered by the trainees. 2) Produce school library management guidelines to facilitate library staff in managing the library. 3) Applying knowledge in school library management. Output target in the form of process is the occurrence of improvement of target audience ability in understanding understanding, concept and process of management and utilization of school library. Output target in the form of product is at least 75% of participants produce library materials that have been processed and at least 75% of participants generate library catalogs to facilitate the process of retrieval. The methods offered to solve the problem of library management are: through the creation of a library management module that contains the concepts of library management; socialization and training of school library management. Implementation of the activity begins with the preparation of training materials, copying, presenting the material, and training with individual guidance. To evaluate the achievement of objectives begins by measuring the candidate's initial capability, followed by an evaluation to measure participants' ability at each stage of the activity, and a final evaluation to measure achievement purpose of program activities. Training activities carried out smoothly in accordance with the expected objectives of this program activities. This activity received a positive response from various parties and trainees in the management of school libraries. So it is expected to provide better service and the existence of school library will be more real in the community.
The writing of this paper aims to explain the process of media transfer in the special collection of Bung Hatta and find out the obstacles that occur in the process of media transfer in the special collection of Bung Hatta and to know the efforts to overcome the obstacles in the process of media transfer in the special collection of Bung Hatta in the Bung Hatta Library Proclamation Unit. This type of research is descriptive in nature, which wants to describe the activities of digital media transfer as an effort to preserve the special collection of Bung Hatta at the Bung Hatta Library Proclamation Unit. Data collection techniques through direct observation to the location and interviews and data collection by reading and studying sources in the form of books, literature, and literature studies. Based on the processed data it can be concluded that. First, the process of media transfer activities at the Bung Hatta special collection at the Bung Hatta Library was carried out in three stages, namely: (a) the process of taking pictures (b) the editing process, and (c) the process of packaging the book for media transfer. Second, the obstacles that occur in the process of media transfer in the special collection of Bung Hatta in the Bung Hatta Proclamator Library are: (a) facilities and infrastructure that are still inadequate, (b) lack of expertise in carrying out media transfer activities in the Bung Hatta special collection, and (c) media transfer activities have not been included in the library budget. Third, the efforts made to overcome the obstacles in the process of media transfer at the special collection of Bung Hatta at the Bung Hatta Library Proclamation Unit UPT are: (a) completing facilities and infrastructure to support media transfer activities as well as preparing special rooms that are impermeable to light, (b) adding energy experts and also conduct training for other staff, and (c) incorporate media transfer activities into the library budget so that these activities run optimally and sustainably.
