Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) struktur mitos Cupu Kyai Panjala, (2) makna ritual Cupu Kyai Panjala, dan (3) pola pikir, pandangan hidup, dan pandangan dunia masyarakat Mendak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnolinguistik. Data penelitian ini berupa kata-kata dalam mitos Cupu Kyai Panjala. Analisis data menggunakan model etnosains dan metode agih, serta disajikan malalui metode formal dan informal. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) struktur mitos Cupu Kyai Panjala yang terbagi dalam empat episode; (2) makna denotasi dan makna leksikal pada ritual Cupu Kyai Panjala; dan (3) pola pikir masyarakat padukuhan Mendak terlihat dalam bentuk tingkah laku mereka sehari-hari yaitu kerja keras, kehatihatian, berjaga-jaga, dan menjaga keselarasan dengan alam. Pandangan hidup masyarakat bahwa manusia diciptakan sebagai makhluk individu dan makhluk sosial. Pandangan dunia masyarakat Mendak bahwa dunia ini bukanlah ada dengan sendirinya, melainkan ada yang mengadakan dan yang menguasai sebagai penguasa tertinggi, yaitu Tuhan. Kata kunci: cupu kyai panjala, struktur mitos, dan etnolinguistik.
Penanaman minat baca pada anak menjadi hal penting dalam membentuk pola kebiasaan membaca. Salah satu bacaan yang bisa dibaca oleh anak-anak adalah bacaaan yang memuat kearifan lokal masyarakat. Pengabdian ini terletak di Dusun Banjarsari, Kecamatan Prambanan, Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menamamkan minat baca anak-anak SD berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan ini merupakan kolabirasi antara Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL), dosen, dan mahasiswa di lokasi KKN. Metode PkM adalah ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil yang didapat adalah (1) adanya minat anak-anak untuk mengenal lebih dalam budaya mereka; (2) adanya minat baca yang tinggi terhadap relief Candi Sojiwan yang di dalamnya terdapat cerita rakyat. (3) adanya nilai-nilai yang dapat dibetik dari setiap cerita pada relief Candi Sojiwan.
Learning Indonesian in K13 is communicative, CLIL, scientific, and genre-based. Indonesian material in junior high school is integrated in one genre. Textbooks as a learning tool compiled nationally consist of student books and teacher books. Bloom revised taxonomy, the highest ability is to create / creativity. Ki Hadjar Dewantara has long coined Tri-N (niteni, nirokke, nambahi) which is relevant to the scientific approach and the process of creating a revised edition of Bloom. Textbooks as a principal guide for teachers and students in learning must apply a scientific approach. Tamansiswa teachings are known as Tri-N. Niteni is the process of marking by paying close attention, using all the senses, digging deeper information, and reasoning by connecting knowledge already possessed from excavated products. Nirokke is imitating what is taught through a model / example / example from the teacher / learning resource by involving the mind, sensing, feeling / conscience and spirituality integrally and harmoniously. Nambahi is the process of adding to what he has learned in developing his creativity and ideas through the activities of designing, creating, and improvising. This study aims to describe the application of the niteni, nirokke, and supplementary processes in genre-based Indonesian SMP textbooks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis of interactive models Miles Huberman. The genres representing this research are description, explanation, procedure, exposition, and narrative genres. The results showed that in these genres the process of niteni, nirokke, and nambahi always appeared.
<div id="__if72ru4sdfsdfruh7fewui_once" style="display: none;"> </div><div id="__zsc_once"> <p>The aims of this study are (1) to describe the view of health and sickness in the cummunity of Tambran Kidul village; (2) to describe verbal and nonverbal behavior in healing and preventing the sickness in the cummunity of Tambran Kidul village; (3) to explain the reasons why verbal and nonverbal behaviors are very essential in healing and preventing the sickness on cummunity of Tambran Kidul village; and (4) to describe mindset, view of life, and worldview in the domain of health on the cummunity of Tambran Kidul village, Semin district, Gunungkidul regency.</p><p>This study is a descriptive qualitative. Data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of words in the event said the treatment and prevention of illness-disease using interviews and observation with informants (curer). Secondary data were obtained from books and journals by using literature study method. The data analysis used were ethno science and distributional method with the phases of analysis of domain, taxonomy, componential, and cultural theme. The result of the data analysis is presented through formal and informal method.</p>The result of this study shows that (1) there is a view of health and sickness based on cognition system of Javanese cummunity in Tambran Kidul village; (2) there are verbal and nonverbal behaviors such as (a) text of verbal and nonverbal behaviors are in form of micro and macro structures. Micro structure includes introduction, contents, and cover. Macro structures includes setting and scene, participants, purpose dan goal, act sequences, tone or spirit of act, instrumentalities, norms, and genres. (b) co-text which is kinetic or movement and material element (c) cultural, situational, socio-economic, and spiritual context. (3) the verbal and nonverbal behaviors are very essential because of some reasons (a) verbal behaviors is the realization of faith and hope in God; (b) nonverbal behaviors is the realization of a real action and (c) the existence of inner-energy<strong>, </strong>(4)<strong> </strong>the mindset of the Tambran Kidul villagers are; keeping a harmony, peaceful and principle of living together, <em>eling lan waspodho </em>remember and keep watch’, respecting forefathers, and living plainly.. The view of life are: <em>tepa slira</em> ‘mutual respect’; <em>ayom</em> ‘peaceful’, <em>ayem</em> ‘serene’,<strong> </strong><em>suka</em> ‘happy’; <em>asih samaning titah </em>‘love of neighbor’<strong>;</strong> and <em>nglurug tanpa bala </em>‘attack without troops’<em>, sugih tanpa bandha </em>‘rich without possessions’<em>, digdaya tanpa aji </em>‘divine power without talisman’. The worldview are: the existence of the highest holly spirit, forefathers <em>dhanyang </em>‘the ancestral spirits who protect the village’, and<em> mbok Sri </em>‘mother Sri’</div>
The purpose of this research was to describe (1) the structure of the novel Mempelai Naga according  to  Lévi Strauss, (2)  conflict, (3)  preservation  of cultural heritage, (4) the values that can be applied as subject matter of Indonesian at high school. This research is qualitative and descriptive. The results of the study are (1) a novel  structure  according  to  Lévi Strauss  has  relationships,  opposition,  and transformation, (2) conflicts of conflict between man and man, man and nature, man and God, man and conscience and, (3) preservation of heritage  Chinese culture-Jambi done by Naga who chose his bride and a number of elements relevant to the community, and (4) the value of which can be applied to learning Indonesian language and literature in high school are the value of cultural, moral, educational, religious, and social.
