A review of the main modern achievements is presented in development, production and application of UV bactericidal lamps and irradiating installations with their use to disinfect water, air and surfaces. It is shown that LIT NPO takes a worthy place among most large-scale global manufacturers of such lamps and installations.
A lot of attention is paid to the efficiency questions of modern amalgam lamps of low pressure in connection with more and more growing relevance of increasing energy efficiency of installations for water, air and surface disinfection. The real efficiency of a radiation source, as well as of the whole UV disinfection system, is an operational parameter much important for the customers. In this work, factors influencing efficiency of low pressure lamps are considered in detail. It is shown that efficiency of the modern amalgam lamps at the beginning of their lifetime is about (30–40)%.
The article examines the specifics of digital literacy in the context of an innovative economy. A brief historical overview of the emergence of the concept of “digital literacy” and its spread over the past 20–25 years is given. Digital literacy is defined as a set of technical and cognitive skills necessary for navigating in a digital environment, equally essential for both the modern economy and scientific and technological development. The important role of digital literacy in an economy based on innovation is outlined. The article offers a concise comparative analysis of the situation with the development of digital literacy in three countries (USA, India, and Australia) and a comparison of foreign experience with Russian. A general analysis of the challenges in the field of digital literacy for Russia in the context of the problems of higher education and science policies is carried out.
The article describes the specifics of the concept of digital competencies in the context of the development of an innovative economy. A brief comparison of the concepts of digital literacy, media literacy and digital competencies is carried out, their general and specific features are indicated. The main applications of digital competencies, both economic and socio-cultural, are indicated. An example of a comprehensive program for the development of digital competencies within the European Union is presented, as well as the place androle of the concept of “digital competencies” in programs for long-term socio-economic and educational development of Russia.
