Masalah dalam pengabdian ini berupa rendahnya pendidikan karakter pada siswa SMK. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan karakter yang terbentuk pada mata pelajaran PJOK. Metode yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi dan ceramah. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi dengan bantuan lembar observasi. Selain itu penerapan nilai karakter pada aktivitas jasmani melalui cabang olahraga seperti pencak silat, sepak bola, tarung derajat dan catur secara tidak langsung membiasakan siswa melakukan perbuatan positif atau membentuk karakter positif. Karakter yang terbentuk, yaitu jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, peduli sosial, peduli lingkungan, dan bertanggung jawab. Karakter tersebut merupakan nilai-nilai luhur yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia yang dapat membekali siswa dalam menghadapi perkembangan IPTEK. Hal ini sejalan dengan keberadaan mata pelajaran PJOK yang sejak awal digunakan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral
This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of PBL method with conventional methods and especially gender. This research was conducted at SMAN 12 Sijunjung. The research was carried out as much as 2x45 minutes according to the lesson hours. This type of research is Quasi Experiment Research or quasi-experimental. The main object in this study were male and female students in SMAN 12 Sijunjung. The results showed that with the application of problem-based learning (PBL) children would become more active, creative and innovative in learning PJOK, and create equal understanding and interest in PJOK subjects. To improve the quality of learning more effectively, the teacher must better understand the PJOK learning strategy.
The purpose of this research is to know and understand achievement motivation at junior athletic athletes of Padang. This study was conducted on 15 athletics athletes junior Padang aged 10-15 years. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Methods of data collection in this study using interviews and observation. The results show that when junior athletic athletes face the game, the opponent's mind and judgment are faced superior, have better ability and have a good track record of achievement. Underlying factors such as low self-motivation athletes to excel when competing meet the opponent, the lack of flying hours athletes compete and less mature mentally during the match.
This study was conducted to reduce the level of anxiety experienced by athletes, especially beginner athletes, who often experience excessive anxiety during matches. In this study, 2 exercise methods were used to reduce anxiety levels, 1) Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and 2) Autogenic Relaxation (AGR). This research method uses a quasi-experimental design, using a purposive sampling technique. This study divided the groups into 2; 1) 20 athletes used the PMR method (15 males and 5 females, with a mean age of 19.2 years), and 2) 18 samples were in the AGR group (16 males and 2 females, with a mean age of 18 years). Each group will undergo a pre and post-test with the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale instrument. Based on the results of the research conducted, data were obtained stating that 1) the PMR and AGR methods both affected reducing anxiety; 2) athletes who experience decreased anxiety proven to improve the focus of athletes; 3) provide advice to teachers and coaches to reduce the anxiety of novice athletes with various other methods. This study is limited to the PMR and AGR training methods, not looking at other conditions in athletes. Furthermore, the research recommends implementing the PMR and AGR methods for a more extended period to obtain even better results. In addition, further research is also recommended for other sports.
Belajar dari pengalaman virus yang telah terjadi sebelum adanya Covid-19. Telah banyak ditemukan ramuan atau sentuhan yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi dan meningkatkan kembali gairah atau motivasi siswa untuk belajar di sekolah. Covid-19 juga diprediksi juga akan meninggalkan beberapa masalah yang sama dengan virus-virus sebelumnya. Hal tersebut harus cepat diatasi untuk mengurangi dampak depresi atau bahkan kembali meningkatkan minat belajar untuk para siswa. Metode pelaksanaan antara lain menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran diskusi dan kerja kelompok, pengalaman, game/permainan dan manajemen penugasan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini akan mengikutsertakan guru PJOK tingkat yang ada di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Hasilnya para guru sangat terbantu dengan adanya pengabdian ini, kemudian pelaksanaannya pun juga berjalan dengan baik. Hasil menunjukkan opara guru dapat dengan mudah menerapkan materi yang didapatkan kepada siswa. Diakhir kegiatan para guru berharap dapat dilaksanakan pengabdian kembali pada masa yang akan datang.
