The purpose of this research is to know and understand achievement motivation at junior athletic athletes of Padang. This study was conducted on 15 athletics athletes junior Padang aged 10-15 years. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Methods of data collection in this study using interviews and observation. The results show that when junior athletic athletes face the game, the opponent's mind and judgment are faced superior, have better ability and have a good track record of achievement. Underlying factors such as low self-motivation athletes to excel when competing meet the opponent, the lack of flying hours athletes compete and less mature mentally during the match.
The issue of character education is one of the problems that need to be addressed in Indonesian education. In this study, researchers focused on the low implementation of the character and role of parents in improving the learning outcomes of Physical Education at middle school students. This study aims to analyze the relationship between character and learning outcomes of Physical Education at middle school students. The type of research used in this research is quantitative correlation research with a total sample of 30 students. The research instrument is a implementation character education at school. The results of the research are that there is no significant relationship between character and learning outcomes of Physical Education at Middle school students. Thus it can be seen that character values do not have an impact on improving learning outcomes in the Physical Education subject in Junior High School students, this is because the implementation of character in the physical education subject has not yet been implemented properly, so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes who are still below the limit value.
Children with special needs have problems with low social character and personal character. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of charact education in children with special needs. This research is a qualitative research,This research was conducted on August 2 to September 29, 2018 at Special Schools of Perwari Padang, West Sumatra. The informants in this study were teachers who taught at extraordinary Perwari Padang school which amounted to 5 people, with the object of research totaling 64 students special needs. Data collection methods use observation, documentation, interviews. The findings of the researcher indicate several behavior problems which indicate that there is no personal character or social character in children with special needs (especially for mentally retarded children). The results of the study show the importance of applying the values of character education to chi special needs for the realization of a better national character.
Low motor skills will have an impact on childrens low ability to socialize. The purpose of this research is to improve childrens social abilities through learning motion using educational games.The type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative approach.This research was conducted in two cycles,the subject is a child at Kiddy Land Gym and Preschool with an age range of 2.5 until 5 years. While the second cycle some children have started to be comfortable to play together even though some other children are still accompanied by their parents when the play activity is carried out.The conclusion from the study is that the importance of learning motion through play in children can improve childrens social skills.
