West Sumatra has a number of MSMEs that tend to increase every year. However, these MSMEs are still lacking confidence because of the limitations they have, such as difficulties in funding, lack of technological tools to support operational activities, and lack of knowledge in the scope of business strategy. This research is a type of empirical research in the form of a literature study originating from five previous studies. The keywords used in the selection of articles were: 1) 2019-2020 criteria, 2) discussing MSMEs, 3) using the Resource-Based View (RBV) strategy, 4) using the VRIO theory (valuable, rare, inimitable, organization). From the research results, it was found that RBV with VRIO analysis contributed positively to MSMEs in gaining competitive advantage. Valuable, rare, imitability and organization are internal assets or resources owned by tangible and intangible MSMEs. VRIO optimally contributes to competitive advantage if applied together to strengthen one another.
This research is motivated by the high interest and demand for LPG gas among the people in Tanjung Muatiara resulting in LPG gas often experiencing scarcity at several gas bases, all because the people only make reservations at bases in their home environment. To get information about LPG gas supplies, the public must visit bases to directly inquire of LPG gas supplies to the base owner. For this reason, through this research a website-based online design and application of LPG gas ordering information system was conducted. The system design in this application program uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The software development model used in this study is the waterfall SDLC model often also called sequential linear nods or classic life cycles. This study aims to build an information system that can provide information about LPG gas inventories at Teti Tanjung Mutiara Base and implement a website as a medium to promote and place online orders at Teti Tanjung Mutiara so as to facilitate the ordering process by customers.
Archiving is storing data activity in various ways and means in certain places, make safe from being damaged or lost as a center of memory or resources of an organization. Class IA Padang District Court, was not using the information system in terms of filing criminal and civil case files. Thus experiencing difficulties in the management of file archiving criminal and civil cases from receipt of the file. Report and storaging are all done manually. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research for the making application program of criminal and civil case files filling information systems in Class IA Padang District Court. This research is conducted by data collection method which includes field research, library research and laboratory research. System development method uses System Develop-ment Life Cycle (SDLC) concept. With this archiving information system the archiving becomes easier and faster, fast data search process, a well documenting and in terms of making the report would be easier, so it helps ease the worker of archivist.
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kantor Dinas Safety & Risk PT. Angkasa Pura II cabang Bandara Internasional Minangkabau. PT. Angkasa Pura II mendukung terciptanya aspek keselamatan dan keamanan selama di kawasan Bandara. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada saat penelitian yaitu pemeriksaan keselamatan dan keamanan masih menggunakan formulir ceklist, sehingga pemeriksaan keselamatan dan keamanan menjadi tidak efisien dan efektif. Petugas Safety & Risk mengalami kesulitan dalam pengecekan masa berlaku PAS Bandara dan petugas mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan perbaikan data, serta belum adanya grafik. Untuk itu dirancang sebuah sistem yang dapat mempermudah petugas dalam melakukan pemeriksaan. Metode penelitian ini menerapkan metode berorientasi objek, bahasa pemrograman yaitu PHP dan MySQL sebagai database. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa sistem informasi keselamatan dan keamanan di kawasan bandara yang dirancang memudahkan petugas dalam melakukan pemeriksaan.
The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Padang City is a supporting element of the Padang City Government's task in securing and implementing City Government policies that are specific in the field of peace and public order. So many data on violations are handled and the manual data collection of violations results in not yet optimal management of data on violations of Regional Regulations (Perda), so we need an information system for collecting data on violations of regulations. The method of development in the preparation of this study in library research, field research, laboratory research and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The author's program implementation uses PHP programming language with MySQL Server database. With the implementation of the information system on collecting data on local violations in Padang City Satpol PP, it is hoped that it will simplify and speed up the management of regulations on local regulations, so that service to the community is better.
