Introduction: The Video-Simulation how a new pedagogical method has been scarcely used. We pretend to evaluate the utility and satisfaction with methodology used in the learning of the motivational interview technique through video-simulation. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study (2015) in students of 4 th nursing course of Nursing School La Fe (Valencia, España). The scores obtained were measured, and the reliability of the questionnaire (Cronbach 1. er Trimestre 2019 • Año XXIII-N.° 53 Alfa), through a factorial analysis. Results: Average age=23.6 ± 4.5 years. Cronbach Alpha = 0.91. The factorial analysis identified two dimensions explaining 32.4% and 32.1% of the variance (64.5% total variance). 70.6% of the students are quite or totally in agreement with the fact that the video-simulation allows them to improve substantially the learning. Conclusions: Students showed a high level of satisfaction with the learning methodology implemented. It is an effective learning method, that they consider useful to improve the skills in motivational interviewing.
Background: Women's satisfaction with maternity care is strongly influenced by their sociodemographic characteristics, values, and attitudes. The arrival of a preterm baby is often a traumatic time, with unique factors involved. The Spanish Preterm Birth Experience and Satisfaction Scale (P-BESS) is a robust instrument capable of assessing women's satisfaction during preterm birth. The purpose of this study was to assess women's satisfaction with maternity care during labor and birth with preterm babies in a Spanish-speaking population. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study. Participants were 182 women who gave birth within 37 weeks' gestation. Factors associated with satisfaction were studied through univariate and bivariate analyses and through multiple linear regression using the backward elimination method. Results: Women reported high satisfaction with maternity care overall (average score of 84 out of 95). Women with a university education were generally less satisfied. Women were more satisfied if they were pregnant for the first time. Women who reported a previous premature birth or neonatal death were more satisfied, and women who had prior miscarriages were less satisfied compared with women without these experiences. Conclusions: The analysis confirmed that the majority of women surveyed were very satisfied with their childbirth experience. The Spanish P-BESS can be a useful way of prioritizing intervention measures, focusing on those aspects lowest scored by women, such as "information and explanations" and "confidence in staff," to improve maternity services for families experiencing preterm birth.
K E Y W O R D Slabor, patient satisfaction, preterm births, surveys and questionnaires, validation studies Note: Four regression models were performed, one with the total score as the dependent variable and one for each of the subscales. The demographic variables that were significant with each of the scores, shown in Table 3, were included as independent variables, performing a method of selecting stepwise variables, which allows us to have models with only the significant variables. No significant factors were identified for the subscales Staff Professionalism and Empathy and Information and Explanations.

Background:The General Comfort Questionnaire (GCQ), developed by Katharine Kolcaba, has not been validated in any speaking Spanish country, subsequent validation is necessary. Objectives: To translate the General Comfort Questionnaire (GCQ) in English language into Spanish (S-GCQ) and to examine the psychometric properties of the S-GCQ. Method: Validation was performed on a randomly selected sample of 600 nurses from eight Valencia and Murcia public hospitals. This study analyzed the psychometric properties and factor structure using translation and back-translation of the original version, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Internal Consistency (IC) and Multidimensional Scaling (MS). Results: The instrument showed excellent internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha of 0.90), good item-total correlation, and a coefficient of determination of 0.94 in multidimensional scaling. Factor analysis supported the twelve-factor structure reflecting dimensions of the original instrument. Discussion: The S-GCQ is a valid and reliable Spanish-language assessment instrument to measure nurses' comfort. It would be appropriate to validate the S-GCQ instrument for assessing nurses' comfort in Primary Care and other health settings.
