This research aims to determine whether the problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of automotive engineering basic work in class X Automotive Body Repair Techniques (TPBO) SMK N 2 Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. This type of research is Classroom Action Research through 2 cycles where there are four stages carried out, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection which leads to an increase in student learning outcomes. The subjects in this Classroom Action Research were class X TPBO SMK N 2 Depok even semester students. Based on data analysis and results of Classroom Action Research (CAR), it can be concluded that based on the results of student learning tests in cycle I, 8 students (25%) completed their studies, in cycle II, 29 students (90.62%) completed learning by obtaining a value of ≥ 75. Based on the results of observations of student learning activities in the first cycle, 18 students (56.25%) were in the less active category and decreased in the second cycle to 4 students (12.5%). Thus the results of the study indicate that the problem-based learning model can increase student activity and learning outcomes in the basic competence of maintaining measuring instruments in the subject of automotive engineering basic work in class X TPBO students at SMK Negeri 2 Depok, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta.
Kualitas udara dalam ruang telah menjadi perhatian penting karena memberikan masalah terhadap kesehatan manusia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan aktivitas manusia yang menghabiskan kurang lebih 90 persen waktunya di dalam ruangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi karakteristik kualitas udara pada ruang kelas dengan sistem ventilasi alami pada sekolah yang berada pada ring 1 kawasan pabrik Semen Tonasa II Kabupaten Pangkep Sulawesi Selatan. Pengukuran kualitas udara berfokus pada konsentrasi CO, CO2, kadar debu total, suhu, kelembapan udara dan kecepatan aliran udara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Konsentrasi CO dan CO2 pada tiga ruang kelas berada di bawah rekomendasi yang dipersyaratkan DOSH dan ASHRAE. Hal ini menunjukkan kualitas udara yang baik dalam ruang kelas dapat dipertahankan dengan sistem ventilasi alami yang digunakan. Untuk pengukuran kadar debu total berada diatas ambang batas yang dipersyaratkan oleh Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI No.1405/MENKES/SK/XI/2002. Selain itu terdapat hubungan yang relatif berpengaruh (p0.05) antara polutan udara dengan faktor meteorologi seperti temperatur, dan kelembapan udara pada ruang kelas. Studi menemukan bahwa adanya pengaruh dari lokasi dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah serta jumlah dan aktivitas manusia terhadap nilai konsentrasi polutan pada ruang kelas.
This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on the employability skills of students of the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlational method. Correlation research is research that aims to determine whether there is a relationship between two or more variables. In this study, data processing was carried out using SPSS version 25.0. The sample of this research was 177 students from class of 2017, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo. Research data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality tests, linearity tests, and multicollinearity tests. Hypothesis testing includes simple regression analysis. The results of the study show: There is a significant effect of online learning on the employability skills of students of the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo by 2.8%.
This study aims to reveal the effect of industrial practice experience on the job readiness of vocational engineering mechinery students in Yogyakarta. This type of research is ex-post facto with a correlational approach. The subjects in this study were all students of machining engineering expertise program at Vocational High School Yogyakarta, with a total of 297 students. Determination of sample size using the Isaac & Michael table, obtained a sample of 247 students. Sampling with purposive sampling technique and data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics to describe the data of each variable and the regression analysis used for hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the hypothesis has a positive and significant effect between industrial practice experience on the work readiness of students of Mechanical Engineering Vocational School in Yogyakarta. It can be seen from the regression results and the results of the significance of industrial practice experience on student work readiness, the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.677 and the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.459. The results of this study indicate that the experience of industrial practice has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Mechanical Engineering students at Mechanical Engineering Vocational School in Yogyakarta.
