The Sustainable Development Goals emphasizing an intervention to prioritize solutions to the global challenge of poor child development in low and middle income countries (LMICs). In 2015, about 25% of children under five years of age in low were stunted (Kim & Subramanian, 2017; Perkins et al., 2017; UNICEF, 2015) The WHO conceptual framework for stunting (2013) identified household and family factors, complementary feeding, breastfeeding practices and infections as the most plausible causes of stunting(Stewart, Iannotti, Dewey, Michaelsen, & Onyango, 2013)
Hypertension in the elderly can actually be prevented, but the lack of adequate knowledge about the elderly hypertension and prevention efforts are likely to increase the number of occurrence of hypertension and hypertension occurred so often repeated (relapse). With empowerment Support Group is expected to be an increase in prevention of recurrence behavior of hypertension in the elderly. The purpose of the study is to know the influence of the support group against the behavior of the elderly in the prevention of recurrence of hypertension at the village and subdistrict Bicak Trowulan Mojokerto. The design used was pre experiments with one group pre test and post testdesign. This research sample 24 elderly by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection through the pre test and post test using a questionnaire about the behavior of the elderly in the prevention of recurrence of hypertension. Intervention support group provided for 8 weeks. Data processing is started from the editing, coding, scoring and tabulating. then conducted a test of a different mode. The results showed there was a positive change in behavior in the prevention of recurrence of hypertensive elderly in the village of Trowulan subdistrict of Mojokerto Bicak. Empowerment Support group is effective in improving the behavior of the elderly in the prevention of recurrence of hypertensive diDesa Bicak subdistrict of Mojokerto Trowulan as much as 83.4%, because of the support group is a group that teaches the assistance and guiding the elderly behave healthy life which will result in reducing or eliminating personal and social problems.
using observation sheet and data analysis using the spearman rank test. Spearman Rank test results show the value of ρ, where ρ = 0.000 < the 0.05. It's means that there is a relationship between economic status with clean and healthy lifestyles in the hamlet of Muteran village of Kutorejo Sub-district Wonodadi Mojokerto. This suggests that the higher socioeconomic status then the better lifestyles also clean and healthy. These results indicate that economic status is very closely related to the behavior of living clean and healthy..
Background: One of the government's efforts to reduce MMR, IMR and reduce complications during pregnancy include the activities of the Mother Love Movement, Strategy Making Pregnancy Safer and the Duplication of Mother and Child Health Books. The KIA handbook as an educational tool and an effort to increase information on pregnant women. Objective: This study aims to explore related to the use of the KIA handbook as a source of information, Birth Plan and Postpartum Contraception Planning. Methods: This study uses a concurrent triangulation strategy by collecting quantitative and qualitative data together. The sample in this study was 30 pregnant women with total sampling technique. Data analysis with a comparison of quantitative data and qualitative data. Results: The results of the study showed that out of the 15 respondents who had good use of the KIA handbook, the majority had good labor preparation. While of the 9 respondents who used the KIA handbook with sufficient categories, the majority also had good childbirth preparations. Of the 15 respondents who had good use of the KIA handbook, the majority had made contraceptive preparations. While of the 6 respondents who had less use of the KIA handbook, none planned for postpartum contraception. Conclusion: The conclusion is that the better the use of the KIA handbook, the better the preparation of labor and post-partum contraceptive planning.
