Background: Low birth weight (LBW) is a major risk factor for death and disease in the fetus and newborn infant. However, the study about LBW and maternal risk factors involved in Indonesia is still limited. Objective: The present study attempted to examine the association of maternal risk factors including mother’s age, mother and husband education, mother and husband occupation and wealth, ANC visit, desired pregnancy and obstetric complication toward the occurrence of low birth weight infant across region and family wealthy. Methods: This study employed the data from the national survey of Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). The latest births from married women who gave birth within 2 years (2011 and 2012) preceding the IDHS were considered as sample selection. It was approximately 15,126 respondents. The predicted risks of low birth weight were estimated using multilevel logistic analysis. Results: Data were collected on 15,126 pregnant women who reported 10.2% were with LBW infants. When using the multilevel logistic analysis, the factors associated with LBW were maternal delivery-baby age, mother’s education, antenatal care and pregnancy complication at significant levels of 0.01. Conclusion: The prevalence of preterm infants in this study was quite high. Factors affecting LBW were maternal age, maternal education, ANC visits and pregnancy complication. The ANC visit of pregnant women is a potential and feasible activity to reduce the incidence of LBW.
Abstract- The world of information systems provides many models of information systems, the link of market with a geographic information system is to provide various kinds of information, specially the geographical markets. The importance of this information gives a lot of inspiration for the model makers to design systems that approximates the real world. Model of information system is also expected to be used as predictors of future events by basing on the existing data on past and present. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is designed to collect data, store and modify data, and analyzing object along with geographic data which is important for analysis. GIS is presented with a web based on this design can also be used as a tool to provide information to the general public. The results of research by modeling UML (Unified Modeling Language) is very helpful in the process of designing a geographic information system of traditional markets as well as the application of geographic information system web-based traditional market can be used as a means of market information, especially for potential traders who want to trade in one of the traditional markets in the city of Pekanbaru. Keywords: Geographic Information Systems, Web, Traditional Market, Modeling, UML.
Covid-19 has an impact on education. In order to maintain the quality of learning, online mode learning innovation is carried out with the application of project based learning through experiments in the application of Bernoulli's Law on used bottle leaks. Online learning at SMAN 1 Metro usually uses Problem Based Learning. In this study will be used PjBl to increase the creativity of students. This research aims to explore students' ability in problem solving in dynamic fluid concepts. This type of research is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental approach, and the design used is Nonequivalent Group Design. The subject of the study was Sma N 1 Metro in class XI IPA which numbered 67 students. The analysis method uses the N-Gain Test and the different tests between the two sample groups. Results: N-Gain in experimental class by 65.74% and in control class by 25.04%. Based on hypothesis tests, it was found that the effect of applying madel project based learning in improving student learning outcomes in Bernoulli Law material. Project based learning model in online learning is also effective in developing 4Cs.
Loss to follow-up (LTFU) of clients from antiretroviral therapy (ART) has a great negative impact on the immunological benefits of ART, and increased acquired immune deficiency syndrome related morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this study was to analyze socio-demographic characteristics related to LTFU among HIV and AIDS patients in Semarang City. A case-control study was carried out at Hospitals and Primary Health Centre. Patients who did not take anti-retroviral for 3 months were defined as LTFU while those regularly take anti retro viral for 3 months became the controls. The total sample of the research were 134 respondents obtained by purposive sampling technique. Chi square and logistic regression tests were performed to analyze factors associated with LTFU. The multivariate analyses showed the most dominant factors that influence with LTFU was education level (OR = 6.27. 95% CI: 2.29, 17.09). Intervention on literacy program should be emphasized to patients who are about to start and during the ART program.
