This study aims to determine the intercultural communication in question is the process of communication between groups of different cultures between foreign students and UINSU FIS students. This research uses descriptive research, which means a systematic, factual, and accurate description of the facts, characteristics and relationships between the phenomena being investigated. Research that uses descriptive type is research that is intended to describe, describe, or explain the state of the object being studied as it is about the analysis of intercultural communication in students of FIS UINSU. This research results that there is a KAB model for Aceh and Javanese students involving a mediator. This model illustrates that differences in communication behavior cause Papuan students to have difficulty adapting to Javanese students so that effective KAB is difficult to achieve. Therefore, the presence of a mediator from Javanese students is needed to bridge communication with Javanese student groups as well as to be a companion in class.
The village is a combination relationship between the activities of a group of people and their environment caused by social and cultural elements. Village government is a government institution that runs and manages village areas. In addition to its environment, Ulamahuam village also has tourist attractions that increase the economic income of residents. This tourist attraction is managed and utilized from natural resources in Ulumahuam Village, Pandayangan hamlet. These natural resources require human resources in the village, to manage tourism objects in order to increase the attraction of visitors. To create a village that cares and has an environmental culture, residents need to be involved in various environmental learning activities. In addition, the village head is also expected to involve the surrounding community in carrying out various activities that provide benefits for both the community and the environment. The role of the village government in the village of Ulamahuam is to carry out socialization to the village community about the Adiwiyata village program, after that the community applies reforestation along the road and then the community manages the natural resources owned in the village so as to generate income for the village, in the village of Ulamahuam still maintaining customs. Real Work Lecture (KKN) which was held by the KKN-154 group in Ulumahuam Village, Silangkitang District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency which was held for 30 days, namely 18 July-18 August 2022. While carrying out KKN in Ulumahuam Village, Silangkitang District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency, they were welcomed both by the community and the community also participate in activities that the KKN team has planned. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the role of the 154 KKN group in helping to increase MSMEs in Ulumahuam Village, Silangkitang District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods, with interview and observation data collection techniques. This study resulted that the KKN-154 group played a good and influential role for the village community in improving the economy and empowering the community. In this case, the KKN-154 group, Ulumahuam Village, Silangkitang District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency has a good role in helping the community in increasing MSMEs.
