<p><em>Several problems of speaking in SMAN 6 Medan attracted researchers to conduct the research as an effort to help the students in language learning. Researchers attempted to see the effectiveness of Pictionary game toward English speaking skill. This Pictionary game is a simple game and applicable for all levels of students. The main function of this game is building of creative thinking, increasing of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, developing student’s bravery in expression of the ideas and creating of responsibility and cooperative towards the students. Because of this advantage, many researchers conducted this game on language learning such as the effect of Pictionary game on vocabulary mastery and researchers decided to see whether Pictionary game is effective for student speaking skill. This study is conducted by using an experimental design. In collecting of the data, researcher took pre-test and post-test from experimental and control class and examined them to see whether Pictionary game is effective or not. After analyzing of the data using of three tests, researchers found that the students’ score in experimental group was higher than control group in post-test. The calculation showed t_observed was 2.07. The degree of the freedom was 70 (df= n1 + n2 – 2) that means (df= 36 + 36 – 2) at the significance level 0.05, thus the critical score was 1.97. It can be concluded t_tablewas 1.97. then, the calculation of students’ scores shown that t_observed&gt; t_table that means (H_a) was accepted, and (H₀) was rejected. It means there is significance effect of the students’ speaking skill after treated by Pictionary game.</em></p>

The village is a combination relationship between the activities of a group of people and their environment caused by social and cultural elements. Village government is a government institution that runs and manages village areas. In addition to its environment, Ulamahuam village also has tourist attractions that increase the economic income of residents. This tourist attraction is managed and utilized from natural resources in Ulumahuam Village, Pandayangan hamlet. These natural resources require human resources in the village, to manage tourism objects in order to increase the attraction of visitors. To create a village that cares and has an environmental culture, residents need to be involved in various environmental learning activities. In addition, the village head is also expected to involve the surrounding community in carrying out various activities that provide benefits for both the community and the environment. The role of the village government in the village of Ulamahuam is to carry out socialization to the village community about the Adiwiyata village program, after that the community applies reforestation along the road and then the community manages the natural resources owned in the village so as to generate income for the village, in the village of Ulamahuam still maintaining customs. English is a native-speaking language hundreds of millions of the world's population consisting of Americans, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and of course·only the British themselves. This fact allows the emergence of several English variants or varieties; Among another emergence of British English and American English.  In the world of education, English as a language foreigners in Indonesia, the second variant has not received attention. Most English teaching institutions without be the choice of certain English variants. On Basically, the official provisions regarding this matter are not yet there is. However, there are variants of British English and American English can bring teacher doubts in dealing with abnormalities, vowel, vocabulary, or pronunciation the language. This is one of the considerations for the need to know English variants for prospective teachers and students English teacher, especially when the American influence is growing.

Early childhood has a strong curiosity, that's one of its characteristics. This curiosity can be overcome by using the media as a media application. Because learning English as a language that is widely used in the world today is quite a difficult task, especially for young children. However, there are many ways to make learning English easier, especially speaking skills, by using learning media, such as listening to children's songs, watching animated videos, and using application features on mobile phones. Learning media is anything that is used to increase the effectiveness of learning for each student. Through the development of technology, education and mass media, they can create a more attractive and efficient way of teaching for everyone, especially children. In early childhood, the media used certainly attracts more attention, such as the use of flash cards and pictures. This learning media causes the emergence of creativity for every child which is useful for improving their abilities, especially speaking skills, so that children are even more courageous to express their opinions using English.

Abstract. This study aims to determine the Education Personnel Management Effectiveness ofat State Senior High School For Islamic Studies (MAN) 2 Mandailing Natal, namely: 1) employee planning, 2) employee procurement, 3) coaching and staffing, 4) promotion and transfer, 5) employee termination, 6) compensation, and 7) employee evaluation and development management of Education Personnel at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The place that became the object of this research was Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Mandailing Natal, which is located on Jl. Teuku Umar Pasar III Natal, Natal District. The results of the study show that: The required staff planning is adjusted to the required students. Therefore, before preparing a plan, it is necessary to carry out a job analysis and job analysis to obtain a job description (an overview of the tasks and work to be carried out). Procurement of employee educators always conforms to the plan that has been prepared by the Head of Madrasah and staff at the madrasah for procuring staff themselves must go through a recruitment process, oral exams, written exams, and practical exams, so far the procurement of teaching staff has only used exams writing and studying. The development of employee education staff at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal must always be specifically related to the development and career paths of teaching staff according to the category of each type of teaching staff themselves. Promotion, transfer, dismissal, compensation and evaluation of employees always refer to the rules that are in accordance with the provisions.
