and to compare impact given by the circuit training method and the interval training method. This type of research was quasi-experiment given to student in sport education major who took part in the formation of physical condition course. The population in this study consisted of 41 persons. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique so that the sample in this study amounted to 36 persons that consisted of 18 persons for circuit method and 18 persons for interval method. This exercise was given 15 times. The instrument used in this study was Indonesian Physical Fitness Test with an age range between 16-19 years. The physical fitness elements measured in this study were speed, arm muscle strength, strength and endurance of the abdominal muscles, explosive strength of leg muscles and weakness. Based on statistical analysis, it was obtained that tcount was 0.68 and ttable was 1.69, so that tcount 0.68
Olahraga Bulutangkis merupakan salah satu olahraga prestasi yang memiliki kompleksitas dalam program latihan (lokomotor dan manipulatif). Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah PBSI Kota Padang. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masih kurangnya pemahaman pelatih secara komprehensif tentang unsur kondisi fisik dan cara meningkatkannya pada atlet bulutangkis.Seorang atlet harus memiliki kondisi fisik yang baik agar mampu merealisasikan teknik serta menerapkan taktik/strategi dalam bermain. Kondisi inilah salah satu yang memicu penyebab rendahnya prestasi atlet bulutangkis kota Padang. Solusi yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan kondisi fisik atlet malalui pelatihan tentang kondisi fisik cabang olahraga bulutangkis karena kondisi fisik sangat dibutuhkan dalam olahraga bulutangkis.Target yang hendak dicapai adalah agar pelatih dapat memahami unsur kondisi fisik serta bagaimana cara meningkatkannya sebagai salah satu upaya peningkatannya. Luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah pelatih memahami tentang unsur unsur kondisi fisik serta cara peningkatannya khususnya cabang olahraga bulutangkis bagi pelatih bulutangkis se kota Padang serta adanya publikasi karya ilmiah pada jurnal. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut maka metode yang digunakan ada dua, pertama adalah dengan melakukan observasi di lapangan dan menjalin kerjasama dengan mitra. Tahap kedua adalah memberikan pelatihan tentang kondisi fisik bagi palatih di kota Padang. Tahapketiga melakukan evaluasi terkait capain yang diraih dalam kegiatan pelatihantersebut.
The problem in this study was the low ability of the muscle explosive power of the UK Karate UNP athletes. This study aims to see the effect of weight training using Bench Press on the explosive power of arm muscles of UK karate athletes at UNP. The population in this study were athletes from the Padang State University Karate Activity Unit, amounting to 15 people. Sampling is done by Total Sampling, then the sample in this study amounted to 15 people. The treatment in this study was carried out as many as 16 meetings and measurements of arm muscle explosive power before and after treatment (pretest-posttes design). The instrument used in this study was the Two Hand Medicine Ball Put test. After the data is obtained, the data is analyzed using t-test. The results showed: weight training using the Bench Press had a significant effect on the explosive power of the athlete's arm Unit of Karate University Padang State University's karate activity was proven where t count 6.42> t table 2.15 thus the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the consumption of energy drinks on the ability of aerobic endurance. This type of research is quasiexperimental research design, one group pretest-posttest design. Samples numbered 24 people.
