Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi aritmatika sosial yang valid, praktis, dan efektif SMP Kelas VII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan model pengembangan Plomp. Produk yang dikembangkan yaitu modul berbasis model PBL materi aritmatika sosial. Subjek uji coba adalah 45 siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Pattallassang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli, angket respons siswa dan guru, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas, diperoleh bahwa (1) Hasil validasi bahan ajar adalah 4,5 pada kategori sangat valid, (2) Praktis karena persentase rata-rata respons siswa adalah 82,6% dengan kategori positif dan persentase rata-rata respons guru adalah 95% dengan kategori sangat positif. (3) Efektif karena rata-rata kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran adalah 4,60 dengan kategori sangat baik, persentase rata-rata aktivitas siswa adalah 70,9% dengan kategori baik, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 88,9%, tuntas secara klasikal. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan uji coba terbatas, modul berbasis PBL pada materi aritmatika sosial memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.
This research aims to develop a problem based learning module in basic statistics courses for graphic engineering students at the State Polytechnic of Creative Media Makassar. This type of research is research and development. The development of learning tools in this study was developed by adapting Plomp's model development. The result of the research show that The validation of the teaching materials is 4.8 in the very valid category and Practical because the average percentage of student responses is 84.5% in the very positive category and the average percentage of lecturer responses is 96% with very positive category. This Study Effective because the average lecturer's ability observation sheets in managing learning is 4.80 in the very good category, the average percentage of student activity is 80.2% in the very good category, and the student achievement test is 90%. It concluded that the problem based learning module is valid, practical and effective.
This research aims to determine the validity of the problem-based learning module teaching materials in the basic statistics course for graphic engineering students at the State Polytechnic of Creative Media PSDKU Makassar. The type of research used is research and development concerning the 4D development model. The 4D development model consists of several phases: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The product developed is module teaching materials based on problem-based learning on basic statistics material. The test subjects in this research were graphic engineering students at the State Polytechnic of Creative Media PSDKU Makassar. The instrument used in this research was a validation sheet consisting of two validators from design experts and material experts. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is obtained that the analysis of the validation results: (1) the feasibility of the graphic, namely 4.8 is in the very valid category, (2) the feasibility of the language, which is 4.8, is in the very valid category, (3) the feasibility of the content is 4.8 in the very valid category, and (4) the feasibility of presenting that is 4.8, is in the very valid category so that the average value of all aspects is 4.7 which is in the very valid category. So, the problem-based learning module teaching materials in basic statistics courses that have been developed are valid to be used as teaching materials in the learning process.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi kesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika Higher Order Thinking Skills serta gambaran perbedaan kesalahan pada bidang geometri berdasarkan kriteria Hadar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan awal kepada siswa kelas XII MIPA 3 yang kemudian dari hasil tersebut dipilih 6 subjek penelitian berdasarkan kategori yang ada. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan awal yang memuat dari 30 butir soal, tes tertulis Higher Order Thinking Skills yang memuat 2 butir soal uraian dan pedoman wawancara. Kesalahan dianalisis menggunakan kategori kesalahan Hadar yang terdiri dari 6 kesalahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, kesalahan yang terjadi adalah kesalahan menggunakan data, kesalahan menggunakan bahasa, kesalahan menggunakan logika untuk menarik kesimpulan, kesalahan menggunakan definisi atau teorema, penyelesaian tidak diperiksa kembali, dan kesalahan teknis. Subjek yang mengerjakan soal HOTS materi geometri cenderung melakukan kesalahan menggunakan logika dalam menarik kesimpulan, kesalahan menggunakan definisi atau teorema, dan kesalahan teknis. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan tentang jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa SMA pada materi geometri khususnya dalam mengerjakan soal level tingkat tinggi sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan dapat diminimalisasi.
