The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic that attacks all parts of the world causes various problems ranging from physical, psychological, spiritual and economic health. Government of Indonesia in order to reduce the number of growth positive Covid-19 then make various kinds of policies. Meanwhile, women due to the Covid-19 pandemic bear a double burden, because of the work from home and school from home policies. Thus, women must be able to allocate their time to take care of the household, accompany their children to study, as well as work. The purpose of women entering the business world is not only about financial problems, but also to follow the intrinsic needs and a sense of satisfaction with the achievements that have been made, especially mompreneurs in Indonesia can be a driving force in the process of empowering women which has a positive impact on the country's economy, especially in helping the family economy. Mompreneur generally start business from small to capitalize skills and capital are limited. Mompreneur is believed to continue to grow from the small business level to become a large business and even be able to compete at the international level. The purpose of the study is to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, self-esteem, the orientation of the market and the orientation of the innovation to the performance of mompreneur through a commitment to entrepreneurship. This research was conducted in the city of Medan on mompreneur with a sample of 255 respondents. Results of the study showed that self-efficacy, self-esteem, the orientation of the market and the orientation of the innovation impact significantly on the performance of mompreneur through a commitment to entrepreneurship. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way of ife in work, schoo, sociaizing, and any activities carried out outside the housethat wi contact other peope. Especiay with the impementation of partia ockdown, PSBB, work from home (WFH), stay at home, isoation, socia distancing, and even regiona quarantine. Where a peope are advised not to do activities outside their house, incuding work. The habit of working ike this wi have a positive impact. For exampe, if women experience a chaenging task, they will become more independent and robust. Nowadays,married women can not ony act as housewives but aso have gender equaity to do business from their homes to support their needs. Being a mompreneur has many advantages, one of which is the fexibe working hoursadapted to your family. Mompreneurs can sti do househod chores that go hand in hand with running their business.This study aimed to anayze the effect of sef-efficacy and sef-esteem on mompreneur performance through market orientation and innovation orientation. This study used accidenta samping with a tota sampe of 215 mompreneurs in the city of Medan. The data anaysis method used partia east squares anaysis with SmartPS software. The resuts showed that directy sef-efficacy, sef-esteem, market orientation, and innovation orientation had a positive and significant effect on mompreneur performance, and indirecty, it was known that sef-efficacy and sef-esteem had a positive and significant impact on mompreneur performance through market orientation and innovation orientation.
This study aims to determine and explain: the description of the role of leadership styles at University of Sumatera Utara through motivating the application of Kaizen culture to employee performance. The type of research used in this research is an explanatory research using quantitative methods. The variables in this study are: leadership style and improvement culture as independent variables, work motivation as the mediating variable, and employee performance as the dependent variable. This research uses primary data in the form of responses to the questionnaire, as well as secondary data obtained through documents. The data analysis method used is path analysis. The results of path analysis show that: leadership style variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, Leadership style variables have a positive and significant impact on motivation, Kaizen cultural variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, Kaizen cultural variables have a positive and significant impact on motivation, and motivation variables have significant effects on employee performance. Influence; the leadership style variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance through motivation; the improvement of culture has a positive and significant impact on employee performance through motivation. Persaingan dunia bisnis semakin ketat, pelaku usaha harus menyiapkan diri untuk menghadapi perubahan-perubahan agar usaha dapat berkembang, kesiapan diri untuk aktif, kreatif dan inovatif sangat dituntut dalam menjalankan usaha. Dalam kegiatan ini ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu kendala produksi, kemasan, merek (brand awareness) dan pemasaran promosi dan mitra tidak memiliki laporan keuangan usaha. Kendala produksi adalah masih sangat terbatas jumlah produksi disebabkan karena alat produksi yang digunakan sangat terbatas dan belum memadai, kendala dari aspek kemasan adalah kemesan yang digunakan masih hanya menggunakan plastik biasa dan menggunakan klip sehingga tampilan sangat sederhana, kendala dari sisi merek mitra tidak memiliki indentitas, sehingga ketika konsumen mau membeli lagi tidak tahu merek dan alamat si penjual, Kendala dari aspek pemasaran adalah sangat terbatasnya lokasi pemasaran, mitra merupakan golongan UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) dan biasanya belum mempunyai kanal distribusi produk yang luas. Mitra mendistribusikan produknya hanya ke lingkungan sekitar rumahnya, kendala promosi. Promosi hanya dari mulut kemulut perubahan zaman menuntut perubahan jangkauan pasar yang lebih luas harus during/online, dan unuk laporan keuangan mitra tidak memiliki pengetahuan dasar mengenai pentingnya memisahkan uang usaha dengan uang pribadi untuk keberlanjutan usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan akan mampu meningkatkan jumlah produksi mitra dan memperbaiki kualitas kemasan produk. Dimana kedepannya diharapkan dapat memasuki pasar sasaran yang baru yang lebih luas dan lebih baik. Kondisi ini nantinya akan berdampak pada pengembangan usaha dan peningkatan pendapatan mitra dan juga akan berdampak pada perekrutan tenaga kerja di masyarakat sekitar.
The purpose of this research is to know the influence of social media usages such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Line, and Twitter on buying decisions Women MSMEs in North Sumatra from 2015 until 2016. This research is descriptively quantitative method with the purposive sampling as many as 100 Women MSMEs in North Sumatra. Primary data collection is used through questionnaires, interview, observation, and documentation as well. The secondary data is got from library research, text book, government institution, and journal review. Multiple correlation regression and path analysis is used to see the influence with the instrument of SPSS 16. The result of the research is Social media is Facebook, and WhatsApp have a significant effect on the marketing of MSMEs. However, Instagram, Line, and Twitter have no significant effect on the marketing of MSMEs and Social media such as Instagram and Line and the marketing of MSMEs have a significant effect on buying decision. However, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter have no significant effect on buying decision Women (MSMEs) In North Sumatra.
