The results showed that the headway, BRT has a good level of service, when compared to the standard of the Directorate General of Land Transportation where the average standard headway is 5 minutes. While the standard of BP TransJakarta can be said to be good where the headway during peak hours is 2-3 minutes and non-peak hours are 5 minutes. Load factor, the results of the primary survey and analysis show that the load factor has not yet reached the operational target of BP TransJakarta by 70% so that the bus condition still feels roomy and relaxed, although it is much better according to the standards of the Directorate General of Land Transportation. As for travel time, the operational service performance of BRT is in accordance with the standards of the Directorate General of Land Transportation which stipulates the standard travel time is 1-1.5 hours and BP TransJakarta sets 45 minutes, which is much faster where for the Blok M-Kota and Kota-Blok majors. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat berjudul "Memberdayakan Potensi Hutan Mangrove sebagai Industri Ekowisata untuk Meningkatkan Ekonomi Masyarakat Pulau Untung Jawa" sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kewajiban Tri Dharma College. Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan di Pulau Untung Jawa, Kepulauan Seribu Provinsi DKI Jakarta pada 9 dan 10 November 2019. Berdasarkan hal di atas, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan informasi dan atau pengetahuan tambahan tentang pemberdayaan potensi Hutan Mangrove untuk meningkatkan perekonomian dengan melakukan penyuluhan tentang Hutan Mangrove dan pelatihan singkat tentang teknik untuk memberdayakan Hutan Mangrove dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengelola industri pariwisata yang dapat diterapkan di Pulau Untung Jawa. Metode yang digunakan dalam Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah dalam bentuk studi pendahuluan tentang Hutan Manrove dan wawancara dengan masyarakat dan para pemangku kepentingan dan kemudian melakukan pertemuan dengan masyarakat untuk memberikan konseling, diskusi dan pelatihan singkat terkait dengan pengelolaan industri pariwisata khususnya ekowisata Hutan Mangrove. Hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat yang diperoleh adalah sejumlah strategi untuk perencanaan teknik pengolahan Hutan Mangrove, strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengelola industri pariwisata dan mengidentifikasi potensi lain di Pulua Untung Jawa sebagai faktor pendukung untuk Industri Ekowisata Hutan Mangrove. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan dan informasi terkait potensi pemberdayaan hutan mangrove untuk menjadi industri ekowisata yang dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di Pulau Untung Jawa.
Fierce global competition, volatile changing market and the spread of advanced manufacturing technology have forced significant changes in the competitive arena of manufacturing industries. This manuscript presents the Manufacturing Technology Optimisation Model, which discusses the crucial role of industrial mass training in improving manufacturing company performance. This model provides insights toward the proper allocation of resources which will bring about optimum condition of improved company performance. Four lessons can be learnt from the model: (a) companies should focus first on improving their capability in effectiveness - doing the right things - before pursuing efficiency and adaptability; (b) the attainment of effectiveness can be accelerated by providing employees with on-the-job mass training on certain practices; (c) companies can continue to pursue the efficiency after they have excellent capability in effectiveness; (d) the pursuit of adaptability may simultaneously advance with that of efficiency, aimed at more responsive to customer requirements. A subsequent paper will demonstrate that selection of appropriate ‘people-based’ practices may accelerate improved company performance.
