The paper provides a physical rationale for acoustic flows to occur in porous saturated media. A formula is derived for calculating the velocities of these flows, assuming that all acoustic energy is converted to create flows in a formation. It is assumed that the velocity of acoustic flows depends on the acoustic intensity and the fluid viscosity that saturates pore spaces. With increased fluid viscosity, acoustic velocity decreases. An experimental framework is presented for the effect of combined acoustic and constant electric fields on the permeability of a saturated porous medium.
The paper describes a new method for solving one of the global problems – paraffin rempval from pipelines. The problem is relevant for all oil producing and transporting companies of the Russian Federation and other countries. The method for solving these problems has several advantages, including duration of the overhaul period, high removal efficiency and profitability due to the use of fuel cells. The methodallows for maintaning a constant temperatures equal to the melting point of paraffin.
The article considers mathematics as a way of teaching reasoning in symbolic non-verbal communication. Particular attention is paid to mathematical ways of thinking when studying the nature and its worldview. The nature is studied through the theory of experimental approval of scientific concepts of algorithmic and nonalgorithmic "computing". Various discoveries are analyzed and the role of mathematics in the worldview is substantiated. The greatest value of mathematics is development of knowledge in order to express it in abstract language of mathematics and natural science, i.e., to move to the meta-pedagogical level of understanding of problems and tasks.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
