Psychological counseling, as a contemporary clinical practice, presents itself as a modality concerned with the model as if the new psychic demands are configured and, above all, focused on respecting the historical horizon of meaning in which the one who addresses his request for help is inserted. Within the counseling process in the approach of psychoanalysis, through clinical listening, the objective is to make patients rescue their narratives by becoming protagonists of their history, enabling them to enter a desirous world. Thus, it is believed that psychological counseling has been bringing benefits to the community in general, through the expansion of the possibilities of clinical listening, which has become a possible reference in the public service.
Universities for the elderly are places focused on learning, well-being, and quality of life of the elderly which ensures healthier aging. Objective: To describe the contributions of universities of the elderly to the healthy aging of their participants. Methodology: The work is characterized as bibliographic research. Regarding inclusion criteria, the bibliographic study included national journals on the theme, of the free access databases SCIELO and LILACS from 2008 to 2018. Results: Social experiences in universities promote the elderly a pleasurable old age, with socialization, the maintenance of friendships, self-knowledge, self-esteem, learning, the satisfaction of living. All this helps in coping with crises and losses of this phase and enables successful aging. Final considerations: given what was raised, it is concluded that the participation of the elderly in a university for the elderly contributes positively to a better quality of life in the aging process. This is because these sites offer the elderly the opportunity to live in a pleasurable and healthier way, as well as favors in maintaining biopsychosocial well-being.
People's management policies are outlined considering the structure, culture, and goals of the organization. For its implementation, the professional analysis represents a fundamental role, as it includes the description of tasks, in addition to profile analysis and competencies for filling positions.It serves as the basis for the three systems of people management: entry, development, and valorization of people. The objective of this work was to discuss the differential contribution of psychology in the elaboration of professional analysis as the basis for the organizational management model and the implementation of the people management system. The case study was descriptive and exploratory and was developed in an organization providing human resources services in the hospital area. Thirteen workers participated in the study. Interviews, observations, and documentary analysis were conducted for data collection and discursive analysis.The differential contribution of the psychology professional in people management was illustrated by professional analysis, focusing on the management by the worker's competencies. As a result, a people management manual containing the professional analysis of thirteen positions was prepared. The activities raised, most depend directly or indirectly on the professional analysis, as they relate to recruitment, selection, training, and development of people, as well as performance evaluation. Its implementation allowed adjustments in the actions developed in the three people management systems
