Metal oxo (M=O) complexes are common oxidants in chemical and biological systems. The use of Lewis acids to activate metal oxo species has attracted great interest in recent years, especially...
Alkali metal chlorides have been used as molten salts for further preparation of crystalline carbon nitride, but the effect of alkali metal types on crystalline carbon nitride has not been...
Efficient, selective and recyclable heterogeneous catalysts for photocatalytic CO2 reduction to CO under visible light irradiation are readily prepared by immobilization of cobalt molecular catalysts into Zr(iv)-based MOFs.
The Front Cover shows the competition for aerobic peroxidation of organic molecules, under ambient conditions, between cobalt(III) alkylperoxo quaterpyridine complexes, [CoIII(OOR′)]2+, with different R′ groups (the structures are shown inside the balloons held by the children). The rate of aerobic RH → ROOH transformation is dependent on the nature of the R′ group in [CoIII(OOR’)]2+ with a descending order of 3o>2o>1o. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
