The purpose of this research is to develop automotive Mechanical Technology Skill Program (TMO) in Vocational School. The Research and Development (R&D) object was done in SMK 1, 4 and 7 Semarang, Indonesia. The result was achieved productivity Practical Management Final Model at TMO skill Program in Vocational school named momanticproter. Momanticproter is an advanced study of functional planning management, action, and evaluation in man, money, method, material and minute aspects to productivity practical component including: practical document, material management, practical action, application method, media utilization, teacher competence and qualification management, job description management for teacher, ingredients and tools maintenance management, type management, ratio, and standard description of productivity practical means and infrastructure, and occupational health and safety system. The trial result limited by momanticproter having score result 3,69, and scope result having average score 3,49, so that productivity practical management model has a good category, and can be applied in SMK TMO skill program. Then momanticproter visibility study having average score 3,7 with very suit category. The momanticproter apply implication generally gives a chance to teachers, students to have integral understanding in practical material, and integrated productivity practical management. Especially for school administrator having implication to increase management ability both skill and managerial, for students having implication in motivation to optimize their potential because the practical evaluation does not only rest on an output but also influenced by process so that supporting the regularity of practical action and can encourage honesty, responsibility, working hard, and respecting others. The suggestion for school administrator is in order to: (a) getting stakeholder support, (b) increase teacher resource trough workshop and comparative study.
The qualified teacher candidate of vocational schools (SMK) can be defined as individuals who have met the demands of Vocational Schools and the industry, such as mastering the hard skills and employability skills. Employability skills are the basic skills of every worker in adapting to the workplace. The purpose of this study is to describe the employability skills which must be trained to the candidates of the vocational school teacher. The results of the study showed the description of the employability skills which must be trained to the candidates of the vocational school teacher including : 1) basic skills: communication skills, information management skills, problem solving skills; 2) self-management skills: skills to demonstrate positive attitudes and behavior, responsible skills, adaptive skills, continuous learning skills, working skills; and 3) team work skills: collaborating skills, skills to participate in a project or task.
This study aimed to describe and analyze the implementation of industrial class terms through the management stages namely planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. The research design of this study used qualitative research. The data were collected from four Vocational High Schools in Indonesia. The findings showed that the mechanisms and stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating have been carried out comprehensively and systematically. To obtain the optimal results, the aspect of planning and implementation management needs to be optimized, especially in skills preparation by schools, curriculum synchronization, schedule planning, teacher internship program, and readiness of learning facilities and infrastructure. It is recommended because it needs a review from the implementation of industrial class management in Industrial Vocational High Schools. In addition, it needs improvements in every aspect of management to meet program objectives that have an impact on both parties so that can be a learning strategy based on industrial culture and industrial needs. The candidates of vocational schools graduates (SMK) who suit the needs of industry should have the technical skills and employability skills, and the start of the learning process. This paper aims to reveal the characteristics of employability skills for vocational students according to the needs of industrial revolution 4.0. Education is one of the ways to prepare for the 4.0 industrial revolution. Through education, the community can be well educated especially the various skills required to face increasingly harsh competition. Preparation of a more innovative learning system can be performed from adjusting the learning curriculum, and increasing students' abilities in terms of Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data Analytics. At the same time integrating physical, digital and human objects to produce competitive and skilled vocational graduates especially in the aspects of data literacy, technological literacy and human literacy.
