In traditional dental treatment, archwires are bent by orthodontists using standard methods. However, the standard models cater to patients with common oral problems, and are unsuitable for personalized orthodontic treatment, which is highly desired in many cases. A method to prepare a personalized archwire groove model is, undoubtedly, useful for orthodontic treatment in clinical diagnosis. In this study, a threedimensional (3D) printing technology is demonstrated to achieve the personalized archwire groove model in a rapid, computed tomography image compatible manner, to assist orthodontists. This method is expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of archwire bending and the resultant product can distribute the uniform dentofacial stress, improve the wearing comfort of the patient and further shorten the period of treatment and repair of the tooth.
Along with the change of the college entrance examination system, the spring college entrance examination and the number of separate enrollment has expanded each year, Vocational colleges students increase in species ,and the quality of students is uneven. Vocational students in the study showed new features, based on the "broken windows effect" theoretical research, combined with new learning characteristics of students in vocational colleges' students, a management model of effective learning of students in vocational colleges is proposed. The introduction of "Broken window " theory "Broken windows effect" is a theory of criminology, which is putted forward by James Wilson and George Keeling. "Broken windows effect" theory: When a window glass in a building was shattered but did not get it timely repaired, others may get some kind of hint and then break more glasses. This theory suggests that if let the negative phenomena in the environment go unchecked, them will tempt people to emulate, and even intensified. The core of this theory is that "the first piece of broken glass should be repaired in time, or the broken glass will start to appear". It can be found that : for bad atmosphere, bad behavior, if we do not control and then eliminate in a timely manner, which will induce the occurrence of more similar behavior, and finally make the management in a state of confusion, out of control. Knowledge Management refers to that through planning, organizing, leading, control and other means, using the method of management to make study procedural, streamlined and standardized, and create the best solutions so as to achieve the purpose of efficient learning. The theory and inspiration based on the "broken windows effect" theory is applied to the learning management for students in vocational colleges, which has an important practical significance.
As an important public basic course in higher vocational colleges, higher mathematics is not only the foundation of learning other specialized course, but also it is an important carrier of the training of students' comprehensive quality. However, about the teaching of higher mathematics in higher vocational colleges in our country, the teaching arrangement and teaching methods can't pay attention to the cultivation of students' ability to solve practical problems. The majority of students believe that mathematics is useless so that they are not interested in the studying of higher mathematics. Combined with the teaching book Calculus: Early Transcendental (5thed) of foreign high-quality vocational education resources,About the concept of derivative, for example, we carry on comparative analysis to higher mathematics teaching of Chinese and foreign higher vocational colleges, then put forward an important enlightenments on the higher mathematics teaching in higher vocational colleges in our country.
With the rapid advancement of intelligent transportation systems technologies in recent years, an unprecedented opportunity exists for developing countries to develop their transportation system and supporting infrastructure by taking full advantage of the advanced data acquisition and communication technologies available today. This research explored a potential way to assess the level of traffic over the urban network by using travel-time information obtained from the Global Positioning System. The significance of this application is understood: not having to install system detectors midblock on city streets could mean realizing tremendous cost savings and avoiding the disruption to the operation of the complex traffic system that would result from installation and maintenance activities. The feasibility of calibrating a relationship connecting travel time and traffic volume under various roadway and traffic conditions was studied using Monte Carlo simulation and data regression. Reliability analysis was also performed to assess the stability of the volume estimates in anticipation of changes in the model parameters and roadway capacity. Results from the model implementation and reliability analysis have shown that the proposed approach is capable of reliably describing the level of traffic on the roadway network with an error smaller than 5%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
