The aim of this research is: (1) Develop a video media tutorial for a semi-circle skirt model in women's basic fashion courses in the fashion study program (2) Knowing the feasibility and effectiveness of the semi-circle skirt model video tutorial learning media in the women's basic fashion course in the fashion study program. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The results of this development research are in the form of a learning video product to make a semi-circle skirt. In this study, the feasibility test was carried out by 2 media experts and 2 material experts. The media effectiveness test was carried out in three stages, namely, a small-scale group test conducted by 8 students, a medium-scale group test conducted by 16 students and a large-scale group test conducted by 33 students. The results of the validity of the material experts obtained an average rating of 90.6% in the "very good" category. the results of the validity of media experts obtained an average rating of 94.2% in the "very good" category. small group trials by students got the "Good" category with an average of 80.7%. Medium group trials by students got the "Good" category with an average of 85%. large group trials by students got the "Good" category with an average of 87.4%. The results of the research on the development of learning media based on video tutorials on semi-circular skirts were declared feasible and effective to be used as learning media in women's basic clothing courses in the material of making semi-circular skirts
The This study aimed to determine the differences in student learning out comes using strategi practice rehearsall pairs learning model with convention learning models in the competency of plaiting vase in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Sunggal. The samples were two classes randomly selected. The first class in strtegi practice rehearsal pairs teaching used and second classs in convensional learning model. The instrument of data collection was the observation sheet. Data were analyzed using t-tes analysis technique. Based on the calculations, the value of t = 5,845 > t 1,669 at the 5 % significant level, the hypothesis which states that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between the results of learning in plaiting vase using learning model strategi practice rehearsal pairs with conventional learning model on students grade VIII.
This study aims to develop e-book learning media as a teaching material patterns create in Fashion Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Medan, as a good learning resource and can function properly with effective results and can be used as a learning media. The research design used in this study is R&D. This research is used to develop or validate products that be used in education and learning. The research and development methods are research methods that be used to produce certain products, and to test the effectiveness of the products. The development of educational products in this research is e-book media development. This model has several stages: potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, trial use, product revision, product trial, design revision, product revision, mass production. The test subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, and students. The data about the quality of these development products was collected by a questionnaire. Every data that be collected were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.
The results of the tracer study on curriculum implementation carried out in 2011 obtained graduate competency results not link and match with stakeholders 'needs and graduates' academic achievements (very high achievement index, but not in accordance with performance in the field). The purpose of this study was to develop the alumni of cosmetology education website. The population of this study were all alumni who were netted through the website and filled out questionnaires that had been developed previously, using the snowball method. This type of research is a Development research, which is developing the Makeup Cosmetology Alumni website, which starts from website product development, then is validated on the expert team, then individual trials and field trials are carried out. The instrument used is a questionnaire that is to capture alumni data, the presence of alumni, work, suitability of alumni works with competence, suitability of the curriculum with work, long working income, then the data is descriptive, to draw conclusions. The results of this study are the competence of graduates who still do not meet the criteria for the required competencies. Stakeholders where alumni work have not adjusted their graduates' competencies, there is still low information in the community in mastering competencies, income is not in accordance with alumni competencies. The conclusion of the above is to gather the existence of Makeup Arrangements alumni, the Cosmetology Study Alumni Program community is formed through a tracer study website, so that there is a forum for alumni and keep monitoring the presence of the Alumni.
This study aims to discover the feasibility of booklet media with various collar construction patterns to the students of Fashion Design Study Program, Universitas Negeri Medan. Drawing the pattern construction with the breaking pattern of various collar models to be appropriate as the learning media for the students of Fashion Design Study Program, Universitas Negeri Medan. The research methodology used in this research is Research and Development method. The development model used in this study is a 4-D development model (four D models), including: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The result shows that the usage feasibility of students' booklet test results the percentage of (95,56%) which is in "Excellent" qualification; and the feasibility test with lecturer as the respondents is in (94,74%) "excellent" qualification. Therefore, the feasibility of various booklet media construction with various collar models and pattern breaking method is appropriate to be applied to the students of Fashion Study Program in Universitas Negeri Medan.
