Issues related to information culture evoke a natural interest of Ukrainian and foreign researchers. In addition to purely technical aspects and the development of competency characteristics, the problem of the development of students’ information culture and their personal characteristics is acquiring particular relevance. Virtual space has significant advantages in terms of the speed of information distribution, communication opportunities, and the exchange of scientific data. At the same time, threats are evident, in particular the growth of cybercrime, aggression, dependence, and manipulation. This is particularly obvious in the youth environment. The creation of national elite in modern universities, the openness of the information space, globalization, and the growth of competition in the labor market require operational information for specification of educational policy and adoption of optimal managerial decisions. It becomes increasingly clear that there is a contradiction between the low level of information and analytical skills of students and the high level of requirements for the organization of work with computer technology; sufficient level of theoretical and practical knowledge and low level of skills necessary for work with information technologies; sufficient level of professional training and low level of readiness to use computer technologies in educational activities. Information culture is considered as one of the facets of the universal culture associated with the social nature of man and is the product of its various creative abilities. The need for original specialized courses, which allow quick response to new challenges and improve the quality of professional training of students is constantly increasing. The article outlines the preconditions for improving students' information culture in view of the experience of foreign countries and Ukraine.
The emphasis is placed on changes in the educational field of Ukraine and the importance of forming the competencies of future journalists. Features of the application of modern information technologies in distance learning are outlined. A review of scientific sources of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on the stated issues. The relevance of the introduction of integrated technologies in modern journalism education, which contributes to improving the training of future professionals, the formation of his competencies. Definitions of the concepts "integrated learning", "interdisciplinary approach", "team learning" are defined. The focus is on the need to use an integrated approach - binary classes to increase the level of cognitive activity and activity of higher education. The focus is on forming multi-qualification of the modern journalist working in convergent newsrooms. Means of practical training of students that significantly affect the formation of professional competencies are identified. The importance of media literacy and critical thinking for the training of future journalists has been updated. According to the results of an online survey of students, it was found that interactive teaching methods increase the level of critical thinking and form skills of verification of information as a program competence of future media professionals. Scientific approaches to understanding the concept of "binary class", the organization and methods of its implementation, the features of distance learning during the pandemic. The binary online lesson "Critical Thinking: Verification of Online Content" for students-journalists in the disciplines of journalism (photo and online journalism) on the Zoom platform is described. The skills and abilities necessary for the future mediator, which create a positive professional image and public authority, are generalized and classified. Summarized the application of new learning technologies for self-realization of students, the atmosphere of cooperation, increased responsibility of teachers for the results of their work. Vectors of further research of integrated interdisciplinary classes in the educational process are outlined.
The importance of effective organization of the educational process in training of competent specialists - future journalists has been accentuated in the paper. The authors outlined the role of student assessment as a way of orienting higher education towards the personality of an applicant, actively involving them in the educational process, which has an impact on the self-improvement and professionalism of a future specialist. The relevance of innovation practices in distance learning has been substantiated. A scientific review of educational research on distance learning has been implemented. The notions of “educational video”, “video accompaniment”, “video lecture”, “tutorial” and “screencast” have been defined. The main types of educational have been described alongside with the specifics of their creation. The algorithm of creation of educational video has been analyzed and proven to be effective tools. The features and technology of creating educational videos and application of YouTube channels as an interactive platform for the presentation of educational videos of student journalists have been considered. The special features of video lectures given by the fourth year of study journalists have been described. The topics and content of the lecture, specifics of video production, and use of technical programs have been outlined. The difficulties in producing, creating, and installing various types of educational videos have been accentuated. The creation of a video product for independent and individual tasks has been outlined. The introduction of new forms of organization of the educational process is intended to provide future media professionals with the necessary skills and competencies. It focuses on the advice and recommendations of higher education applicants on the advisability of introducing such forms of instruction into the educational process.
Проаналізовано особливості використання мобільних технологій в медіадіяльності. Визначено основні формати та жанри, що використовуються в мобільній журналістиці. За результатами емпіричного дослідження виокремлено основні переваги й недоліки мобільної журналістики та окреслено перспективи її розвитку.Ключові слова: мобільна журналістика, медіа, MоJо, мобільні технології, мобільний телефон, інтернет.Постановка проблеми. Журналістика є однією із сфер, що піддається трансформації під впливом сучасних технологій. Успіх теперішніх медіа залежить не стільки від самого контенту, скільки від того, в якому форматі його отримає споживач, на якій інформаційній платформі опублікує та наскільки актуальним й швидким буде подання інформації. Цим процесам сприяє використання мобільних технологій, що забезпечують оперативність та інтерактивність у комунікаційному процесі «медіа -аудиторія».Попри відносну новизну поняття мобільної журналістики, все більше зарубіжних та українських учених зосереджує увагу на особливостях, можливостях та перспективі її використання. Так, конструювання гіперлокальних медіа засобами мобільних технологій досліджував доцент кафедри комунікації Гавайського університету в Манао (США) Б. Оппегаард. На перевагах та недоліках використання мобільних технологій у журналістській діяльності зосередив свою увагу чеський науковець Франшек Гел (Фейгел). Розвиток мобiльної журналiстики та особливості її функціонування досліджували учені: Д. Кемерон iз унiверситету Ньюкасла (США), М. Сiльва Палацiос та С. Барбоза iз Федерального унiверситету штату Баїя (Бразилiя) та iн.У 2015 р. у Дублiнi (Iрландiя) вiдбулася Перша мiжнародна конференцiя iз мобiльної журналiстики «MоJоCоn», за підсумками якої було виголошено потреби в iнституцiоналiзацiї мобiльної журналiстики, необхiдність вивчення мобiльного медiамаркетингу, перспективність рiзних операцiйних систем для роботи на персональних ґаджетах, збiльшення кiлькостi годин онлайнового мовлення, орiєнтацiя на мобiльний аудiовiзуальний контент навiть великих медiакомпаній тощо [1, с. 256].
This article is dedicated to one of the essential problems of improvement of the quality of education in the higher educational institutions in Ukraine nowadays that is the introduction of crossmedia into the educational process. In the article, based on the author's own experience, the essential characteristics of the cross-media, the importance of the formation of cross-media competencies in the Humanities graduates are disclosed and the effectiveness of the introduction of cross-media as an innovative technology in their training is analysed. The peculiarities of transformation and modernization of the modern didactic space are described, Ukrainian and foreign scientific and methodological works on the problem of the introduction of cross-media technologies into the educational process are reviewed, the theoretical aspects of this problem are studied, preferable sources of information and most popular platforms among students based on content analysis of ethnocentric questionnaire (hand delivered questionnaire) are revealed. An emphasis is made on the necessity to conduct media education in formal, informal and accidental ways, which lead to the formation of one’s own media product in the sphere of one’s personal interests. The author also paid special attention to the package of licensed programmes such as AdobeAudition, InDesign, Photoshop, AdobePremiere for the production of the multimedia content of high quality. On the basis of the new technological equipment the students who obtain higher education have an opportunity to realise their students’ media projects and create the journalist content in such forms as: printed production with the on-line version, video- and audio-podcasts, infographics, videoconnection, webinars etc. The effectiveness of the student-centered attitude in the educational process that motivates the future specialists to self-knowledge, self-development and self-education is substantiated. It is proved that the introduction of such technologies affects the modernization of the educational process in the higher education institution, provides the maximum approximation of education to the conditions of the future career.
