Abstract.Recently almost all universities in the world have implemented E-learning to support their academic system. Previous studies have been conducted to determine CSF using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. However, AHP method cannot handle the uncertainty and vagueness of the human's opinion, so then it causes less appropriate decision. Some researcher has proposed to use fuzzy sets theory with AHP to increase the ability of AHP to deal problem regarding the uncertainty/fuzziness. This study aims to determine ranks of priorities of the multiple factors which influence the E-learning success using FAHP method. The respondents consist of ten e-learning's experts, 305 lecturers, and 4195 students at Sebelas Maret University. The result describes similar success factors ranking between both experienced and nonexperienced user (lecturer and student). Then, the result shows that there are five most influencial success factors of e-learning at Sebelas Maret University based on the lectures perspective Financial Policy, Regulatory Policy, Course quality, Relevant Content and Technical Support. On the other hand, according to the student's point of view five most e-learning, critical success factors are Quality of Course, Relevant of Content, Completeness of Content, Attitudes toward Student, and Flexibility in taking Course. Therefore, this finding can be used by E-learning management of Sebelas Maret University to deteremine a strategy to to achieve successful implementation of e-learning at Sebelas Maret University with consider these factors.
The digital era describes the presence of technology where everyone can exchange information so quickly by the internet. For an institution, a website has its own benefits, among others, as a media for promotion, presenting information, and providing online services. This study aims to evaluate and improve website performance by analyzing the quality of the Sebelas Maret University selection of new student admissions (SPMB) website by utilizing a combination of WebQual 4.0 and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. In its analysis, WebQual method looks at 3 main dimensions: Usability Quality, Information Quality, and Service Interaction Quality. This research, which involved students in UNS, found that the website’s gap analysis still has a negative value on all attributes and there are several attributes that require improvement related to website design, presentation of detailed and up-to-date information and navigation on the website. The results from this study are expected could be used as evaluation for the SPMB website’s development to meet user expectation.
Educational Data Mining (EDM) often appears to be applied in big data processing in the education sector. One of the educational data that can be further processed with EDM is activity log data from an e-learning system used in teaching and learning activities. The log activity can be further processed more specifically by using log mining. The purpose of this study was to process log data from the Sebelas Maret University Online Learning System (SPADA UNS) to determine student learning behavior patterns and their relationship to the final results obtained. The data mining method applied in this research is cluster analysis with the K-means Clustering and Decision Tree algorithms. The clustering process is used to find groups of students who have similar learning patterns. While the decision tree is used to model the results of the clustering in order to enable the analysis and decision-making processes. Processing of 11,139 SPADA UNS log data resulted in 3 clusters with a Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 0.229. The results of these three clusters are modeled by using a Decision Tree. The decision tree model in cluster 0 represents a group of students who have a low tendency of learning behavior patterns with the highest frequency of access to course viewing activities obtained accuracy of 74.42% . In cluster 1, which contains groups of students with high learning behavior patterns, have a high frequency of access to viewing discussion activities obtained accuracy of 76.47%. While cluster 2 is a group of students who have a pattern of learning behavior that is having a high frequency of access to the activity of sending assignments obtained accuracy of 90.00%.
Batik is visual art that integral to the cultural identity as well as illustrates the life values upon which the life of the community is laid. It uses a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth. This research aims to know the composition of olive oil that required on batik Klowong and to know its effect on the results. The research used both qualitative and quantitative methods such as ingredients measurement technique, questionnaire distribution and voter calculation. The wax for batik Klowo ng consists of olive oil, resin, and white paraffin. The beeswax is an independent variable that is varied in the composition for five different samples (10 grams, 20 grams, 30 grams, 40 grams, 50 grams). The sharpness of the motifs is visually analysed by six respondents. The results showed that sample D and E have better quality than the other samples. While sample A has the highest level of motifs sharpness.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
