Research activities carry out measurements for science literacy ability contained in ethnoscience values by making electronic Student Work learning tools students worksheets that are useful for students. Ethnoscience is related to the concept of local culture contained in the electronic Student Worksheet learning tool students worksheet which is used as a source of learning and learning activities while science literacy skills will provide motivation and interest in learning in understanding learning materials and improving. Thus the realization of a research objective, namely to determine the feasibility test of material experts, media experts, and practicalization experts from learning tools for the development of students’ worksheet learning tools to carry out ethnoscience based on science literacy on the material for the classification of living things at Muhammadiyah Langsa High School. The research method is a method of product development of students' worksheet learning devices. The results showed that products that have been made and validated by material experts, media experts, and practicalization experts state that the products are suitable for use for sourcing learning media in learning and learning activities of students and teachers. This research can also be concluded that the overall average of expert assessments of students’ worksheet product validation is feasible
The results obtained from this study include the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and control class, the students 'critical thinking skills in the experimental class and the control class as well as the observation data of students' learning motivation on the theme of caring for living beings in grade IV Elementary School 026609 Pujidadi Binjai in the 2019 academic year. / 2020. shows that the average score of learning motivation in the experimental class is 82.20 with a standard deviation of 6.823 and the average score of learning motivation in the control class is 45.23 with a standard deviation of 1.007. Furthermore, the results of the students' learning motivation scores between the experimental class and the control class are combined then the median is sought. This process is carried out to divide motivation into two groups, namely the high motivation group with the criteria of students with a motivation score above the middle value (median) and the low motivation group with the criteria of students with a motivation score below the middle value. As for the calculation, the median value is 63.71. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Quasi (Quasi Experimental Method) with the research design as the basis for the implementation of the research is to distinguish the effect of problem-based learning models and the effect of expository learning on student outcomes and critical thinking skills in science in terms of high learning motivation and low learning motivation. the treatment class is class V1 class V2.
This study aims to analyze the components of Biology Lesson Plan for reproduction system material in public senior high school in Mandailingnatal District. The research method was using quantitative descriptive study with a sample of 20 biology teachers from 14 public senior high schools in Mandailingnatal district. The research instrument used RPP document assessment sheets, observation sheets of instructional implementation and interviews. The results showed that Planning of learning implementation made by biology teacher in public senior high school in Mandailingnatal for reproduction system academic year 2015/2016 was categorized quite well planned with percentage 77%. As a follow-up of the results of this study is expected to teachers to be able to plan better, systematic and operational learning implementation by considering the characteristics of students, include a more appropriate evaluation instrument and more active in cooperation with the MGMP group to produce better learning.
This research aimed to determine the effect of learning model on: science process skills in SMA Negeri 1 Langsa. The research applied experimental queasy method research with 3 classes which were using by cluster randome technique. Class A learnt with problem based learning model, class B with guided discovery lerning model, while class C (control) learnt with conventional lerning model. the data analysis technique used Covariat Analysis (ANACOVA) at the level of significance α = 0,05 by using SPSS 21.0. The result showed: there was significant effect of learning models on student’s science process skill (F = 50.953; P = 0.00). student’s science process skill learnt by problem based learning (84.5 ± 5.3) significantly higher than guided discovery (75.30 ± 7.7), and conventional learning models (65.90 ± 8.1).
