Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kegiatan mencetak dengan tehnik eco-Print pada anak usia dini khususnya usia 4-6 tahun yang berbasis kearifan lokal daerah pinggiran Kota Baubau. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang berlokasi di Kota Baubau dan Kabupaten Buton. Observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati secara langsung kegiatan anak usia dini dalam proses mencetak dengan tehnik eco-print serta mengamati bagaimana kegiatan eco-print dapat menstimulasi berbagai aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran mencetak dengan tehnik eco-print merupakan suatu inovasi pembelajaran pada anak usia dini berbasis kearifan lokal untuk menstimulasi berbagai aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Selain itu, bahan alam yang ada di sekitar anak menjadi inspirasi dan sumber belajar anak usia dini dalam mencipta suatu karya seni.
This study aims to determine the symbolic thinking ability of chidren aged 4-5 years which includes the ability to count the number of objects from 1 to 10, recognize the concept of numbers, recognize number symbols, and recognize letter symbols. The problem in this study was that when learning observations took place, parents asked children to count the number objects from 1 to 10, recognized the concept of numbers, recognized number symbols, and recognize letter symbols and the child could already count and recognized number symbols. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. The type of research used was the type of experimental research conducted with four meetings using coastal media. The subjects in this study were 11 children in Wali Urban Village, aged 4-5 years. Data collection was carried out by observation. The data analysis technique used in this study was the qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study showed that the symbolic thinking abilty of children aged 4-5 years using coastal media developed as expected.
This paper aims to introduce the essential aspects that teachers should know in teaching children to read in English. The age level of the children referred to in this paper are children aged 5 to 7 years. The aspects include the characteristics of children, the importance of teaching children to read in English, decoding and phonemic awareness. The aspects were selected from the results of the analysis of previous related literature that are still considered important for discussion so as to provide new treasures for teachers in particular. With this paper, it is hoped that it can enrich information about teaching young chidren to read in English and increase the teacher's insight about teaching young children to read in English so that teaching reading can take place effectively.
Keterbatasan waktu dan desain kegiatan yang kurang terstruktur menjadi problematika penerapan pembelajaran sains dengan pendekatan saintifik di TK Kartika Wirabuana 51 Kota Baubau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran sains berbasis bahan sekitar melalui pendekatan saintifk untuk menstimualasi kemampuan saintifik anak di TK Kartika Wirabuana 51 Kota Baubau. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipatori. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis secara deskripstif yakni direduksi, display dan verifikasi untuk menemukan hasil sesuai yang diharapkan. Adapun proses penerapan pembelajaran sains dengan pendekatan saintifik dimulai dari pemberian inspirasi awal terkait perkenalan alat dan bahan, desain kegiatan yang telah dirancang dilanjutkan dengan proses eksplorasi untuk menstimulasi kemampuan saintifik anak.
