The mother's body undergoes several changes in all organ of the bodily systems to stimulate the growth and development of the fetus; hence, the clinical laboratory play an important role in the management of pregnant women. A total number of 90 sample were (60 pregnant and 30 control) from the general women population that were referrals from al-Ramadi of obstetrician – gynecologist hospital in the period November 2021 to June 2022. The result of statistical analysis of the present study showed there were no significantly differences between age of pregnant and control group and the gestation period time the pregnant women was 15 % in 1st trimester of gestation, 35 % in 2nd trimester of gestation and 50 % in 3rd trimester of gestation , in addition complete peripheral blood count examination ( leukocytes , Neutrophils , Lymphocytes ,Erythrocytes , Hemoglobin , Hematocrit , and Platelet) revealed significantly lower rates of pregnancy compared to the control group while (Neutrophil) were revealed significantly increase between pregnant and control group.
B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) is the highest incidence of lymphoproliferative malignant disease in most adults in the western world. Due to the importance of the pathogenicity and risk factors of this disease, this study was designed to analyze the expression the pattern of CD200 by flow cytometer immunophenotyping (FCI) and the association between this marker and some clinical features and oxidant-antioxidant status in B-chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients. This study was conducted on 60 newly diagnostic patients with B-CLL and 30 apparently healthy individuals as control group. The socio-demographic information including (age and sex) and clinical data were also collected in period 20 February 2021 to 25 December. The result of statistical analysis of the present study showed that out of the 60 patients, 39 were male and 21 females, with 30 controls (12 males and 18 females). The mean age of adults patients was (64.04 ± 5.6) years, and the adults control mean age of (63.33 ± 4.70) years therefore, there was a higher prevalence p value ≤0.05 of newly diagnosed CLL patients in males (65.0 %) in compared with females (35.0 %).
The term inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) refers to several chronic and recurrent inflammatory gastrointestinal disorders.. This current study was included (180) patients aged (15-60) with inflammatory disease of the internal organs who attended Al-Ramadi Teaching Hospital in Anbar Governorate between September 1st of 2021 to the 1st of May 2022. Elected according to the diagnosis of a gastroenterologist. Three groups of samples were created. The first group (60 samples) from patients full of IBD and Lamblia protozoan infection, group II (60 samples) of patients with inflammatory bowel disease and Entamoeba histolytica - infection suffering, and group III (60 samples) for patients with inflammatory internal organ disease and Helicobacter pylori infection. While the control group consisted of (40) healthy individuals of different ages (15-60) years. They did not have a history of inflammatory bowel disease upon examination by gastroenterologist .The present study revealed a statistically significant difference between the cases (all three groups), and as a result, the p-value for the control group was(<0.05).
Due to the importance of increasing the incidence conditions of B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) that requiring accurate knowledge of the biology behind the pathogenesis and risks of this disease of each individual patient, this study was designed to investigate if hormonal alterations such as Hepcidin, Erythropoietin, and oxidant-antioxidant status may be useful in the understanding of B-CLL development in addition the relationship of these parameters with anemia in advance clinical stage in newly diagnosed patients with B-CLL. This study was conducted on 60 newly diagnosed patients with B-CLL and 30 control group .The socio-demographic information including (age and sex) and clinical data were collected for the period from 20 February until 25 December 2021. The result of the present study showed that out of the 60 newly diagnosed B-CLL patients, 39 was male and 21 was females, with the mean age ( 64.04 ± 5.6 ) years and out of the 30 controls group ,12 was males and 18 was females with the mean age of ( 63.33 ± 4.70) years .therefore, it was a higher prevalence p value ≤0.05 of newly diagnosed B-CLL patients in males (65.0 %) compare to females (35.0 % ).
