Waqf in Islam was one of economic asset to make a balanced prosperity distribution for whole society. But, in fact there were many constraints to develop this waqf in future. One of them was civilizing nazhirs'choices in organising waqf that also resulted on differing models of distribution waqf productively.This study is of the dynamics of the institution of waqf in the great mosques of the northern seaboard of Java (Jawa pesisiran). It focuses on forms of waqf management by nazhirs. The main problem researched is about looking in depth at the effect of the nazhirs' culture on improving the management of waqf, which has resulted in differing models of waqf management.This study may be considered anthropological research into Islamic law.It is qualitative research supported by an academic approach. there are at least three models of culture in the processes of waqf management: traditional, semi-professional and professional. These research findings contribute to the theoretical construction of models of waqf distribution at the great institutional mosques of the Javan seaboard, which consistently implement improvements to the dynamic processes associated with waqf management in an Indonesia context.
Abstract This paper discusses the phenomenon of the development of communication tools in the ancient era until it has grown rapidly until now. Many uncovered stories that are not true from people who are not responsible, either from certain groups or from personal interests. Communication from social media is very dangerous if it is not accompanied by proper ethics in communicating, especially in social media. AS-Syaukani, for example, defines the keyword al-bayan as the ability to communicate. Besides that, in the al-quran there is another keyword, namely qoul. The commands to say in the al-quran and hadith are an indication of the obligation for Muslims to apply the nature of honesty and correct speech which in the concept of al-quran is known as qaulan sadidan.
Abstract The world of pesantren is an educational learning environment that effectively shapes the thinking and mentality of students effectively. Complete physical facilities such as buildings, learning environments, playgrounds or curricula and educational resources (asaatidz) that accompany 24 hours for the students intensively. The students are also protected from the temptation of contemporary social media which tends to have a negative impact during the education process on Pesantren, especially at an early age. The Madinatul Quran Islamic boarding school, which is located in Pecangaan, the South coast area in coastal Java, is interesting to be studied because the integration of this educational institution is the provision of Tahfidz Alquran for small children who are also study at formal education, Islamic primary school or state or primate primary school. This study applied the perspective of management of Islamic boarding schools by using qualitative approach. Some informants as primary data sources were the founders and administrators of Islamic boarding schools. The data was collected through in-depth interview observation methods and observations at the pesantren. Another method is the collection of documentation as a secondary data source in this Madinatul Quran Islamic boarding school. From various analyzes of the data in this study, it is found that the application of innovative methods from the teachers in the pattern of memorizing the Quran for primary school children. The two patterns of management of pesantren which are managed professionally and supported by various parties, especially on the pesantren facilities and the appreciation for human resources, the achievements of the students at the Madinatul Quran Pati Selatan pesantren.
This study is aimed at revealing the functions of human resource management in MAN Yogyakarta III (State Islamic Senior High School) that includes human resource planning, recruitment, selection and placement, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, health program, teacher and employee relation and the effectiveness of human resource management.This study is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study are the principal, teachers, employees and students of MAN Yogyakarta III. The data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interview and documentation. The technique employed to measure the data validity was triangulation. The research instrument was the researcher herself. The data were analyzed using interactive model consisting of three phases: data reduction, data display, and verification.The findings show that MAN Yogyakarta III (1) arranges human resource planning based on the vision, however, it is not effective because madrasah has no right to plan; (2) recruits competent teachers and employees effectively through news paper; (3) sets four types of effective selection: administration selection, academic selection, interview and micro teaching and positions the teachers and employees based on their academic qualification and competences; (4) implements effective training and development programs in accordance with the teachers` and employees` needs such as sharing ideas and knowledge, comparative study, internal presentation, evaluation and coordination; (5) appraises performance by checking the administration of teaching and supervision but the implementation of performance appraisal is not effective. (6) gives the effective compensation for the teachers and employees in accordance with their status; (7) undertakes effective health programs by creating clean and healthy school environment; (9) organizes some programs to establish effective relationship between the teachers and employees.
