Education 4.0 is a conceptually new approach to learning that meets the challenges of the digital revolution, aimed at transforming the future of education with the help of advanced technologies and automation. To integrate into the new digital space, it is necessary to revise the traditional educational paradigms with a futuristic approach. Students should acquire the skills necessary in the era of a dynamically changing technological environment. In this context, the article considers the main directions of digital transformation of education, namely, the modification and integration of traditional models of education. Also, within the framework of the study, the mechanisms of introducing digital technologies into the educational process were isolated, using the example of the Branch of the State budgetary educational institution of Higher Education «Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute»

У статті розглянуто проблему створення методики оцінювання самоосвітньої компетентності майбутнього військового інженера.Дослідження попередніх авторів свідчать, що, по-перше, основою створення методики оцінювання самоосвітньої компетентності майбутнього фахівця є структура зазначеної якості, виходячи з якої визначаються критерії, показники та добираються методи діагностики; по-друге, самоосвітня компетентність майбутнього фахівця діагностується в основному на трьох рівнях, хоча є поодинокі дослідження, у межах яких розглядається чотири рівні прояву зазначеної якості; по-третє, незважаючи на досить ґрунтовне розроблення критеріїв, показників та рівнів сформованості самоосвітньої компетентності фахівця, методика оцінювання сформованості самоосвітньої компетентності майбутнього військового інженера не була об’єктом спеціального дослідження.Презентовано методику оцінювання сформованості самоосвітньої компетентності майбутнього військового інженера, яка включає критерії: емоційно-ціннісний з показниками: рівень пізнавальних потреб, рівень мотивації, рівень креативності; суб’єктно-особистісний, який виявляється показниками: рівень комунікативних якостей, адекватність самооцінки, рівень самостійності; професійно-організаційний, що характеризується показниками: рівень самоорганізації, рівень застосування інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій, оцінка із загальної підготовки, оцінка із професійної підготовки. Під кожний показник дібрано методи його діагностування. Також представлено формули для обчислення оцінок за кожним критерієм та загальної оцінки сформованості самоосвітньої компетентності майбутнього військового інженера. Виходячи зі значення, сформованість самоосвітньої компетентності майбутнього військового інженера може бути діагностовано на чотирьох рівнях: Self-starter (високому) ; Breadwinner (достатньому) ; Clock watcher (елементарному) та Wage slave (низькому) . Поряд із кількісною оцінкою рівнів надано їхню якісну характеристику.

The last decades of the 20 th century in the life of humanity are sometimes called as going through a point of "singularity"fundamental changes without going backwards. The digital era led to radical changes in a human's life. As a result, there emerged a new generation of young people, who, being surrounded by cellphones, internet, video cams, video players, grew up with a new technology. New scenery of the 21 st century classroom poses the question of keeping up with technological advances, adequacy of teaching style for today's students at various educational institutions, in particular, at universities. The aim of the paper is to research types of digital users, define their characteristics, learning styles, find out some peculiarities of teaching them foreign languages, in general, and English for specific purposes, in particular.The term "digital natives", introduced by Mark Prensky [1], refers to people born in the digital era. According to the theory of generations, each of them has its own characteristics distinguishing one from another and encounters for 4 groups:1) Baby boomers generation (1945)(1946)(1947)(1948)(1949)(1950)(1951)(1952)(1953)(1954)(1955)(1956)(1957)(1958)(1959)(1960)(1961)(1962)(1963)(1964) the name arises from the fact that after the World War II many soldiers came home after war and started families; 2) Generation X (1965)(1966)(1967)(1968)(1969)(1970)(1971)(1972)(1973)(1974)(1975)(1976)(1977)(1978)(1979)(1980) hard working, independent, skeptical; 3) Generation Y (1981-1999)confident, technologically advanced; 4) Generation Z (2000-present) [2, p. 2].
