This study at aiming to examine the ability of Balinese local decomposers in composting rice straw. Another goal is to examine the composting rate and quality of compost in enumeration rice straw that is not enumerated. The study used 2 combinations of local decomposers and comparative decomposers. The local decomposer 1 combination consists of Paenibacillus polimyxa, Pseudomonas flourescens, and Trichoderma hazianum. The combination of local decomposers 2 consists of Pseudomonas flourescens, Trichoderma hazianum, and Aspergilus niger. Comparative decomposers are commercial decomposers consists of Azospirillum, Aspergillus, Actinomycetes, Lactobacillus, Pseudomonas, and yeast. The study was conducted in Tangkas Village, Klungkung on June 17 up to July 23, 2017. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 3 (three) replications. Composting is conducted for 35 days and compost reversal is conducted every 7 days. The results showed that the addition of local decomposer 1 was able to provide a C/N ratio of up to 13.78, local decomposers 2 to 14.80 and this result was not significantly different from the comparison decomposition C/N ratio which reached 15.31.
Penelitian di lahan kering bertujuan untuk mengetahui populasi tanaman yang berpengaruh meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil ja gung varietas lokal menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan dua faktor yaitu populasi sebagai faktor pertama terdiri dari taraf perlakuan populasi 285.714 tan.ha-1 , 357.143 tan.ha-1 , 428.71 tan.ha-1 dan 500.000 tan.ha-1 , yang diperoleh dengan menanam jagung sejumlah 4 tan.lubang-1 , 5 tan.lubang-1 , 6 tan.lubang-1 dan 7 tan.lubang-1 dalam jarak tanam 70 cm x 20 cm. Faktor kedua adalah varietas jagung terdiri dari taraf perlakuan Varietas Lokal Bukit, Lokal Kefa 1, Lokal Kefa 2 dan Bisi 2 sebagai kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada populasi 285.714 diperoleh hasil dengan berat biji kadar air 12% 7,78 g tongkol-1 dan berat biji kering oven 7,73g tongkol-1 , dihasilkan oleh varietas lokal bukit. Populasi 285,714 tan.ha-1 secara tunggal memberikan hasil dengan berat biji kering oven tan-1 tertinggi (135,23g tan.-1) dan berat biji kering oven ha-1 tertinggi (7,73 t ha-1). Varietas Lokal Bukit secara tunggal memberikan hasil dengan berat biji kering oven 90,20 g tan.-1 dan berat biji kering oven 5,13 t ha-1 , berpotensi dikembangkan di lahan kering khususnya di daerah Taman Mumbul, Kuta Selatan pada populasi 285.714 tan.ha-1 (4 tan.lubang-1).
The objective of this research was to sudy the effects of pre-sowing treatments to enhance germination, growth and transplanting of true shallot seeds. The experiment was conducted in the glasshouse at Tangtu village, Badung regency from August until November 2017. Germination experiment was carried out in petridishes, while that for seedling vigour and growth experiment was done in plastic pots containing sand and top soil mixture. Both experiments were designed as complete randomized design with eight concentrations of KNO3 (1, 1.5 and 2 M) and GA3 (100, 150 and 200 ppm). Those treatments were replicated four times. Seeds were soaked for 24 hours in each concentration of solution prior to planting in petridishes as well as in pots. Results of the experiment showed that GA3 significantly increased germination percentage, speed of germination (57-63% germinated seeds at 1 dap), index of seedling vigour, speed of seedling emergence (34,39% day -1 ) and percentage of seedlings having one true leaf (52%) at 9 dap. The effects of KNO3 on those variables were not significantly different from those of GA3 except on speed of seedling emergence. KNO3 2M and GA3 (100, 150 , 200 ppm) resulted in 12 days earlier in transplanting seedlings than control.
Kudapan Keripik Jamur tangkos merupakan salah satu makanan ringan yang memilki manfaat bagi kesehatan, dimana kejamkos ini mengandung vitamin B, C, dan D. Kejamkos ini adalah olahan makanan ringan yang berbahan dasar jamur yang berasal dari janjangan kosong buah kelapa sawit (TKKS) yang sudah membusuk. Dimana bahan baku pembuatan KEJAMKOS ini sedikit sulit ditemukan karena pertumbuhannya tergantung musim dan kelembaban tempat janjangan diletakan. Jamur yang siap dipanen adalah jamur yang baru mau pecah yang ukurannya bisa sampai sebesar kepalan tangan orang dewasa. Jamur ini merupakan kelompok jamur mikroskopis yang memiliki nama ilmiah monilia sp. Jamur jenis ini akan terus tumbuh hingga sisa minyak dan protein dalam TKKS habis. Jamur ini tidak dipasarkan di pasar tradisional atau modern karena jamur ini tidak termasuk jamur yang tidak berkembang biak, jamur ini tumbuh subur sehingga mungkin sangat sulit ditemukan oleh masyarakat yang tinggal jauh dari perkebunan kelapa sawit. Maka ini merupakan kesempatan yang baik bagi para pemuda yang tinggal di sekitar perkebunan kelapa sawit untuk memanfaatkan jamur ini untuk diolah menjadi produk yang layak secara ekonomi dan bermanfaat.
