The study further showed that the factors which significantly influenced adaptation to deforestation among the respondents were age, farming experience and educational status with X 2 =9.216, 8.697 and 11.238 at P<0.05 respectively. While those factors which did not influence adaptation to deforestation among the respondents were gender, access to agricultural credit and access to extension services with X 2 =1.286, 7.923 and 5.862 at P<0.05 respectively. The major constraints faced by respondents in adaptation to deforestation were lack of capital and lack of accessible alternative energy. The study recommends that awareness campaign should be mounted to increase the level of knowledge of respondents on the significance of adaptation to deforestation. Respondents should also be encouraged towards establishment of adaptation cooperative societies in order to take advantage of some government policies and programmes.

Abstract: This activity aims to increase the motivation of teachers to write scientific work and to improve the understanding of teachers writing scientific papers on the results of Class Action Research (CAR). This training was conducted in several stages, namely the lecture method (material delivery), question and answer method and simulation method. The effectiveness of the level of training to make the CAR is also very effective, this can be seen from 88% of the training participants being able to identify, choose, and determine the topic / title of CAR that is good and correct, 77% are able to make outlines writing references, 77% were able to organize the main points of writing, 95% were able to write systematic scientific works, 83% were able to write good and correct scientific papers, 95% were able to write abstracts, and 77% were able to correct and or edit scientific papers, 100% able to distinguish between CAR titles with other research titles, and 100% able to make background, problem formulation and CAR objectives. In general, from the results of the training it can be concluded that 91% of the trainees were able to arrange CAR properly and correctly.
