AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari peluang bagi peningkatan kompetensi pendidik PAUD paska pelatihan dengan menggunakan lesson study melalui wadah pembinaan yang sudah ada, yaitu Gugus PAUD. Alasannya hanya 20,4 % tenaga pendidik alumni Diklat yang langsung mampu menerapkan hasil pelatihannya. Di sisi lain, banyak Gugus PAUD yang belum optimal dimanfaatkan sebagai wadah pembinaan pendidik PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan flow model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gugus PAUD memiliki peluang untuk mengembangkan pembinaan Paska Pelatihan dengan menggunakan model pembinaan Lesson Study karena memiliki potensi yang relevan dengan penyelenggaraan lesson study, yaitu: terstruktur dan terorganisir, pembinaan terus menerus dari pihak yang berwenang, kebersamaan, pendekatan partisipatif, kemampuan bermitra dan penumbuhan komunitas belajar. Dalam pelaksanaannya perlu memperhatikan factor pendorong dan penghambat pembinaan di Gugus PAUD.

This paper discusses how far the implementation of child-friendly schools is in developing the character of students at SDN Dewi Sartika CBM by using a qualitative descriptive research method. The research begins with interviews and questionnaires. The research was conducted by analyzing the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and developing strategies. The planning indicators are to carry out a study of the 8 SNP and create a child-friendly school implementation program. The implementation indicators are to create a program implementation team and divide the tasks of the program implementation team. The implementation indicators are to launch a child-friendly school program, make a joint commitment to friendly school implementation, and prepare childfriendly infrastructure, implement child-friendly schools into the 8 SNP (National Education Standards), and determine achievement targets for the 8 SNP. Monitoring indicators are to monitor the results of observing program implementation and follow-up plans. The implementation of child-friendly schools in developing students' character indicates positive results in order to prepare schools that are ideal, safe, and comfortable for learning activities, by implementing them properly as well as has been implemented at SDN Dewi Sartika CBM. According to the results of research on the implementation of child-friendly schools at Dewi Sartika CBM Elementary School, it runs well based on the program plan with an average achievement of 87.50% in the good criteria.

The effect of literacy education is often disappointing, because many participants do not practice their literacy so that it becomes dull. Government has done many efforts to preserve literariness; one of them is done through Koran Ibu (mother newspaper) program. This program is an effort to improve women literacy which is implemented at basic and advanced literacy education through the activity of journalism. The research focus is the improvement of literacy ability of women during the activity of Koran Ibu journalism. The research employs qualitative approach with case study method and interviews, observation, and documentation analysis as data collection procedure. The research's subjetcs are 20 housewives who have completed the basic and advanced literacy education program. The result of the research shows that participants significantly develops the literacy skills, it is indicated from that they are able to participate in Koran Ibu's rubrics with their literary works based on reportage and personal experience. The program is succesful due to the coordination among local participants (headman 'Lurah", head of sub-district "Camat", local to sub-district level of family welfare guidance (PKK) committee members), the cooperation with proper stakeholders (university and local tutor), the appropriate approach of adult learning that accommodate characteristics of the adults, the flexible yet planned implementation strategy, and the routine evaluation and assessment.
