Saat ini media yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan bimbingan karir dinilai terlalu monoton, sehingga menyebabkan para siswa terlihat kurang antusias dalam melaksanakan bimbingan karir di dalam kelas. Salah satu hal yang dapat membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi dan kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa yaitu dengan adanya pelaksanaan Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah. Dalam ilmu bimbingan dan konseling, terdapat empat bidang bimbingan yang diterapkan kepada siswa di sekolah yaitu bidang pribadi, sosial, belajar, dan karir. Selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan media pohon karir dalam mengembangkan perencanaan karir siswa kelas IX. Penelitian ini mengacu pada metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara, adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pohon karir ini mudah dipahami siswa dan mampu meningkatkan antusias siswa dalam mengikuti proses pelaksanaan bimbingan karir, selain itu media pohon karir ini juga mudah untuk diterapkan oleh para Guru BK dalam mengembangkan perencanaan karir siswa._____________________________________________________________________ Currently the media used in carrying out career guidance is considered too monotonous, causing students to look less enthusiastic in carrying out career guidance in the classroom. In the science of guidance and counseling, there are four areas of guidance that are applied to students in schools, namely personal, social, learning, and career fields. In addition, this study aims to implement career tree media in developing career planning for grade IX students. This study refers to a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected using observation and interviews, while the data analysis techniques used were data reduction and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the career tree media was easy for students to understand and was able to increase students' enthusiasm in participating in the process of implementing career guidance
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis degradasi keterampilan sosial pada siswa kelas VIII di MTs Qur’an Kisaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara. Sample yang digunakan sebanyak 12 orang siswa kelas VIII yang terindikasi mengalami degradasi keterampilan sosial dan 2 orang informan yakni guru bimbingan konseling. Sedangkan analisis data dengan melakukan data reduction (mereduksi data). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa degradasi keterampilan sosial siswa kelas VIII MTs Qur’an Kisaran diketahui berbagai jenis, seperti siswa menggunakan bahasa tidak sopan, menggunakan nada bicara tinggi ketika berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi, tidak mampu menerima kritik dan saran, sulit menghargai pendapat orang lain, terlihat pasif ketika kegiatan belajr mengajar (KBM), terisolir dari siswa lain.
This article aims to describe the implementation of the client centered therapy approach as an effort to assist students in the negative behavior of students in one of the Islamic boarding schools in the city of Kisaran. This research is motivated by the many negative behaviors carried out by students in schools such as violating various school rules and regulations, fighting teachers, etc. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with case study type. The data analysis technique is done by reducing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the data validity technique uses the credibility test with the type of triangulation. The results showed that: 1) forms of negative behavior carried out by students were truancy, lying sick so as not to participate in learning in class, violating school rules such as leaving the boarding school environment without the knowledge and permission of the ustadz or cleric in the dormitory, bringing communication tools such as (mobile phones) into the dormitory, fighting with friends, dating in the school environment and fighting with the teacher, there are 2 trigger factors for students to behave negatively, namely internal factors and external factors, 3) based on the results of observations stated that client centered therapy is said to be enough to provide good changes to changes in students' negative behavior. Based on this, the researcher recommends the counseling guidance teachers to collaborate with client centered therapy techniques with other counseling approaches so that it will be more possible for the success of the counseling process to be carried out.
