This research is motivated by the unachieved Vocational High School policy that allows its students to continue their studies to tertiary institutions, which is 20%. The factors obtained at the time of the interview were the students who were still confused in determining their career decisions after graduating from school related to self-belief or efficacy, beside the financial problems related to family factors. This article investigates the influence of students' self-efficacy and their family's social status on their interest in continuing their study to higher education. Data was withdrawn from an online survey to students of one of the best vocational high schools in Bandung, Indonesia. The quantitative data was analyzed using by program of SPSS version. 25 for windows. This research reveals that 1) self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on students' interest in continuing education to higher education, 2) family's social status has a positive and significant effect on students' interest in continuing education to higher education 3) selfefficacy and family's social status together contributed to the variable of interest to continue their studies to higher education by 38.7%. The remaining is explained by other variables.
This study aims to determine dominant factors affecting work readiness of students at Vocational Senior high Schools (SMK). Program Modelling and Information Design Skills Building (DPIB) 5 in Bandung and 109 students of class XII DPIB was selected as case study school and sample, respectively. This study used the ex-post facto research method with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by using online questionnaire survey. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the AMOS 23 test was utilized to analyse the data. The results showed that the factors of "attitude" (0, 379), and "industrial work experience" (0, 203) significantly influence work readiness. While the factors of "knowledge", "skills factors", "work motivation", and "economic conditions of family" do not significantly influence students' work readiness. The most dominant factor influencing student work readiness is factor of "attitude".
Hypotension is signed by the systolic blood pressure less than 90 mmHg and the diastolic less than 60 mmHg. The prevalence of orthostatic hypotension is high, about 10-33%. Genetic polymorphism one of factors influenced the prevalence of blood pressure abnormality. GNB3 gene located at chromosome 12p13 influenced blood pressure by their involved in the second messenger during the transduction pathway. The survey conducted to 54 volunteers (29 normotension and 25 hypotension). The peripheral blood was collected from brachial vein. GNB3 gene were analysis by PCR-RLFP. DNA extraction was processing by GeneJET Genomic DNA Purification Kit. The genotype frequency of CC: CT:TT was 12%:72%:16% in hypotension, while 21%:52%:17% in normotension. The allele frequency of C:T was 48:52% in hypotension and 46,5:53,5% in normotension. The frequency allele of C and T were difference between hypotension and normotension (p=0.005). Concluded that C825T of GNB3 gene associated with hypotension evidence.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
