<p>Educational infrastructure is essential in supporting the improvement of the quality of education in schools. This is because the existence of infrastructure facilities facilitate educational activities so that the educational process in schools is not hampered. Provision and maintenance of infrastructure in schools is the responsibility of all school stakeholders including the school committee. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of school committees in improving the quality of educational facilities in SMK 1 Karangan, East Kutai Regency. By using population techniques, there were 15 research subjects and committee members of the Karangan 1 SMKN East Kutai Regency. The research measure is the scale of the role of the school committee in improving educational infrastructure. The results showed that the influence of the school committee was very important in improving the quality of educational infrastructure, it can be shown from the Tstatistic of 11.756 which was greater than Ttable 2.1788, the value of Fstatistic is 138.389 that was greater than Ftable 4.67, and an R-square value of 0.914 or 91.4%. These results showed that the role of the school committee has a major effect on improving the quality of educational infrastructure.</p>
This study aims to analyze the increase in verbal-linguistic intelligence of early childhood through TikTok media at RA Al Husna Krejenengan Probolinggo. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. To get an idea of increasing verbal-linguistic intelligence of early childhood through the use of Tiktok media, researchers conducted interviews with school principals and teachers at RA Al Husna Krejenengan Probolinggo. The results showed that the Tik Tok application, together with appropriate methods and techniques, could be used as an interactive learning medium in increasing early childhood verbal-linguistic intelligence. With its various features and ease of operation, the Tik Tok application can be implemented in dialogue learning between teachers and students
Music correlates to mathematics in the form of pattern concepts, formulas, and calculations that can be used as variations of ethnomathematics-based learning. One of the mathematics learning’s goals, according to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), is a cultural purpose. This research aims to describe the results of mathematical element analysis in Surabaya regional songs. The research method used was qualitatively descriptive. The data sources used in this study were researchers, literatures, and field practitioners. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation studies. The documentation study was carried out by making a literature assessment corresponding to the required data. The data analysis technique used was Miles and Huberman’s models encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results of study showed that there is a mathematical element in the regional song from Surabaya. The mathematical elements found in the analysis of block notation scores and number notations are summation of same-number fractions, summation of different fractions, multiplication of fractions, data processing in modes form, as well as data presentation in the form of tables, bar diagrams, and line charts. In addition to finding the mathematical elements in Surabaya regional songs, this study also proves that there is a correlation between music and mathematics.
The learning process of students with special needs requires a model that adapts to the specificity of students. Therefore, the learning of students with special needs must be formulated by choosing the right model, so that the delivery of subject matter is well understood. So that education for students with special needs is met the same as students in general. This research was conducted to determine the learning model of students with special needs inclusive elementary schools in Gresik district, namely SDN 263 Gresik and SDN 13 Gresik. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. There are seven primary data sources, including the head of the Gresik district resource center, the principal, the teacher in charge of the inclusion program, and the special companion teacher (GPK). The research was conducted for nine months, from July 2019 to April 2020. Qualitative was chosen as the research analyzer. The results of the study found that the use of the ABK learning model in the two schools is; a) Individual learning model, b) Pull out learning model or learning model in regular classes, c) Team teaching-learning model, d) Learning Model in the resource room, e) Modification of the learning curriculum.
This study aims to describe the implementation of multicultural education in the 2013 curriculum at SD YPPSB East Kutai. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, by describing the results of learning observations, interviews with relevant sources, and reviewing syllabus documents, Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), teaching materials, and learning media. The findings of the implementation of multicultural education are carried out in a way; integrating into the theme of learning, making annual activities for self-development in a programmed and scheduled manner, implementing a model of school community model, character building, inculcation and practice of character values in daily life. As well as habituation by taking action on daily activities that are integrated with the annual school routine program.
