Program studi arsitektur Institut Teknologi Indonesia berkolaborasi dengan SMKN 4Tangerang Selatan untuk melaksanakan program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)pada skema mengajar di satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktoryang berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas program MBKM pada skema mengajar di satuan pendidikan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda menggunakan alat bantu SPSS dengan variabel independen minat dan fasilitas serta variabel dependen efektivitas. Hasil uji f menunjukkan bahwa faktor minat siswa dan fasilitas pembelajaran secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi 60.4% efektivitas pelaksanaan MBKM. Berdasarkan hasil uji t, minat memiliki pengaruh sebesar 40,221% terhadap efektivitas pelaksanaan MBKM dan fasilitas memiliki pengaruh sebesar 20,2176% terhadap efektivitas pelaksanaan MBKM. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa skema asisten mengajar di satuan pendidikan ini memiliki pengaruh sebesar 60,4%, yang terdiri dari 40,2% minat siswa dan siswi SMKN 4 Tangerang Selatan terhadap kegiatan MBKM dan 20,2% fasilitas yang diberikan oleh mentor sebagai pengajar.
Rancangan konstruksi panggung dimaksudkan untuk menghindari ancaman hewan-hewan tanah, kenaikan air laut dan sebagai ruang udara untuk mengalirkan termal. Sebagai suatu struktur yang bersifat sementara, pengembangan rancangan struktur lantai sebagai alas tidur pengungsian dapat menggunakan material yang dapat ditemukan di sekitar lokasi bencana. Bambu, sebagai salah satu sumber penyedia material struktural bangunan, merupakan tanaman yang mudah dibudidayakan, mudah dipanen dan langsung digunakan. Hasil penelitian menekankan pada eksplorasi model sambungan dan formasi komponen struktural pada sistem struktur. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap perancangan model struktur secara digital, dan analisis kekuatan model struktur. dengan adanya maket struktur membuat pemahaman konstruksi lebih mudah diketahui secara teknis. Di sisi lain, analisis digital memungkinkan tim peneliti mengetahui kekuatan sistem struktur. Kata Kunci : struktur dan konstruksi bambu, pencetakan tiga dimensi, model maket, dan analisis kekuatan.
Zoos have an important role as an animal conservatory. An ex-situ animals conservation should have a living space that resembles its natural habitat while also functioning as an exhibition space for educational purposes. While in nature, animals require a large landscape as their habitat. Unfortunately, most zoos’ limited land areas impede them from doing so, especially for zoos in a dense urban area. As a form of public space in the city, zoos not only serve as an educational means for the urban community but also a recreational facility to withdraw from the urban life that is far from the natural environment. Several Indonesian zoos that occupied the minimum land areas in an urban context are Bandung Zoo, Surabaya Zoo, and Batu Secret Zoo. Unfortunately, the two first received relatively bad visitor reviews regarding the lack of animal exhibition space, entertainment space, and supporting space. Meanwhile, the more recently built Batu Secret Zoo, which shares a similar land area, continuously receives good visitor reviews because they feel it simultaneously meets their educational and recreational needs. Improvement is sorely needed for the other zoos. This paper analyzed the spatial zoning of the three zoos’ landscapes and associated them with the visitor experience. It is a preliminary step in assessing the zoo for further improvement in educational and recreational roles. The result shows that the animal exhibition zoning based on a specific design base plays a significant role in improving the educational and recreational function.
Particular ventilation design can create effective natural air movement into the indoor environment by flowing the outside wind. The window, as a kind of ventilation, has various designs. It combines three primary constructions: simple opening, vertical-pivot, and horizontal-pivot opening. Each has a particular characteristic to control air velocity and direction which flows through it. However, the wind is not always certain in the mean of its velocity and direction, which heavily relies on the season. This study is written to investigate the single window’s performance by measuring its effectiveness to control wind velocity in some directions. The effectiveness is conceived as a percentage rate that a window could maintain the outside wind velocity when it flows through the window. This experimental study employs three factors that are wind direction, window design and opening angle. This study operated 1:1 model of ten window designs, a simulation wall, and an electric fan to generate the Building Physics Laboratory's intended wind in the Department of Architecture, Institut Teknologi Indonesia. The result shows that maximum opening angle with perpendicular wind is the most effective situation to flow wind through all window—except simple casement window—with the rate ranging at 85,16% – 123,76%. The wind could also be more speeded up 109,63% – 193,90% when it aligned to all windows. Simple casement window even reaches 266,22% when the wind perpendicular.
The scarcity of land and the lack of communal sanitation in slum areas are common issues in densely populated country like Indonesia. One of them happens in Kampung Nambo, located in South Tangerang City, Banten Province. Those issues encourage some household to build their houses without an adequate sewage disposal system within a very limited land. Wastewater flows directly to the river without any treatment process and it creates negative impact to the environment and human life. Moreover, this kampung also does not have educational and recreational parks facilities, which can fulfil human’s need to socialize and health. The method used in this study is an action-based research. Addressing the problem of scarcity of land and the need for WWTP facilities, the complementary facilities offered are hydroponic farming, workshop venue, playgrounds, reading park, sports facilities that are integrated with the proposed WWTP area. Generally, the WWTP areas often placed in the backside and were not utilized optimally. Meanwhile this study accommodates the WWTP towards integrated and multifunction facility. It is not only to fulfil the needs of education and recreation parks for the community, but also to preserve the location for WWTP extension in the future.
