Salah satu kendala pengembangan produk UKM di Desa Jendi adalah kesulitan dalam menjual produknya. Sebagian besar pelaku UKM hanya menjual produknya secara langsung di sekitar tempat usahanya padahal perkembangan teknologi internet dan sosial media telah menciptakan peluang besar bagi pemasaran produk UKM. Perkembangan teknologi tersebut memungkinkan pelaku UKM untuk dapat memasarkan produknya dengan jaringan yang lebih luas namun dengan biaya yang minimal. Tetapi, masih banyak pelaku UKM yang belum mengetahui bagaimana pemasaran online melalui internet dan sosial media. Hasil penelitian terdahulu mengenai sosial media ternyata memberikan pengaruh bagi perilaku konsumsi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dalam mengelola website dan sosial media. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai berikut: analisis kebutuhan dalam perencanaan program, pengembangan kapasitas internal kelembagaan khususnya pada Kelompok Kerja UKM meliputi; kegiatan peningkatan pengetahuan manajemen pemasaran, peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan teknis pengelolaan website dan social media, peningkatan softskill penulisan konten website dan social media. Ketiga dengan pengembangan jejaring pemasaran dengan stakeholders terkait. Hasil yang telah dicapai pada kegiatan ini antara lain koordinasi awal kegiatan, pelatihan inclass dan pemberian kamera sebagai alat penunjang pemasaran.
Kegiatan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga di bank sampah ini masih sebatas pengumpulan, pemilahan, penimbangan, pencatatan, dan penjualan. Salah satu jenis sampah rumah tangga yang paling banyak dihasilkan adalah sampah plastik, tetapi sebagian besar hanya dijual ke pengepul. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah plastik menjadi produk kreatif belum dikembangkan. Padahal, jika menjadi produk kreatif akan meningkatkan nilai ekonomis sampah plastik tersebut. Oleh karena itu, Bank Sampah diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan produk kreatif berupa material produk kreatif dengan teknologi ecobricks dan pemasaran produk kreatif. Hasilnya mitra mampu melakukan pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi material yang selanjutnya dikreasikan menjadi produk kreatif berupa set furnitur stool dan meja. Selain itu, produk ini mampu menyerap sampah plastik sebanyak lebih kurang 25 kg sehingga teknologi tepat guna ecobricks ini sangat cocok untuk mengurangi timbunan sampah plastik yang dihasilkan oleh rumah tangga. Untuk keberlanjutan kegiatan usaha bank sampah, dilakukan pendampingan sejak awal sampai pasca program kemitraan masyarakat. Hal ini bertujuan agar bank sampah dapat berfungsi sebagai pusat kegiatan yang menjadi wadah usaha yang kegiatannya termasuk daur ulang sampah plastik menjadi produk kreatif. Kegiatan ini dapat menjadi rintisan ecopreneurship yang diharapkan dapat memenuhi permintaan pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Waste bank have the task of reducing waste. Most of the waste produced is plastic waste. The amount of plastic waste that was recorded was 13.39% of the 38.05% of inorganic waste. One of the producers of plastic waste is households in the form of plastic packaging that does not sell well. One of the efforts to reduce packaging plastic is by reusing it as material products to make creative products. Product material 100x75 cm wide, requires 1500 grams of waste. This material is used to make creative fashion products (bags) as an environment-based business including waste. This business is ecopreneurship developed by the Sejahtera Waste Bank, Joyotakan Village, Surakarta City. The purpose of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is the development of ecopreneurship, by reusing household plastic waste, especially plastic packaging. The solution offered to achieve the goal is to provide training and mentoring. The method used to answer the solution is the observation method, the interview method, the test method and the mentoring method. The things that are done to realize the goals are observation, to get the situation and conditions, interviews with key figures, to get information and agreement on solutions to realize the goals. Posttest-pretest is carried out at each training and provides assistance to realize and develop ecopreneurship. The results of PKM in the form of providing training, have the effect of increasing knowledge on participants. Providing assistance gives the Sejahtera Waste Bank confidence to do business. This business is related to the reuse of household plastic waste as the basic material for fashion creative products.
This research is conducted to understand and analyze the management of household waste based on waste bank to increase community income in Surakarta city. A case study used with a purposive sampling of the Rejeki Lancar waste bank, which is a productive waste bank and is able to produce creative products from household waste recycling. The results show that the management of household waste that could increase community income began with the stages of establishing a waste bank, socializing the waste bank, technical training in waste management, implementing a waste bank system, and marketing creative products. The mechanism of the waste bank system itself consists of sorting waste, depositing waste, weighing waste, recording, and transporting waste. Constraints encountered are the lack of integration of the role of the government and the private sector in household waste management based on waste bank in terms of socialization, technical training, facilities and infrastructures of the waste bank, and marketing of creative waste recycling products. Therefore, government and private sector intervention is needed to support the running of household waste management based on waste bank and to increase the economic value of waste management in the community.
The objective of this research is to increase the understanding of the ecopreneurial actions. A single qualitative case study is used to investigate an environmental hybrid firm in implementing institutional logic to develop household waste ecopreneurship in Surakarta City. In addition, the data were analyzed using an interactive model which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The research findings showed that the ecopreneur is implementing dual logics, combining ecological and economic logics into one business perspective. The commitment to dual logic implies on the ecopreneurial firm and how the hybrid firm deal with the complexity within and outside the organization. The ecopreneur also works actively to improve their circumstances, in terms of affecting the field to better prioritize the ecological logic by raising public engagement and developing eco-innovation product. Ecopreneur's commitment in dual logic was implemented in some business's strategy such as production, technology, human resources, marketing, and finance.
