Physical education and sports for people with disabilities are the areas of physical and social rehabilitation. The im- plementation of this can be possible through the use of an inclusive approach in the training process of athletes with disabilities. Anthropometric measurements and testing of athletes with disabilities were conducted to determine the impact of an inclusive approach in the construction of the training process. The main purpose of this research was to demonstrate the positive impact of inclusive training sessions within the developed program on the development of the physical abilities of athletes with disabilities. The research used theoretical (analysis of scientific and methodologi- cal literature; analysis of sports programs for athletes with disabilities), empirical (pedagogical observation; pedagog- ical experiment) methods, as well as methods of mathematical statistics. The results of the research showed a positive impact from the training on the developed karate program for people with disabilities. It also presented the increase of the testing results in the exercises “Sit and reach test”, “Standing long jump” and “Abdominal crunches”.
The anti-terrorist operation, the operation of the joint forces, and the full-scale war in Ukraine have a significant physical and psychological impact on the participants of the hostilities. One of the negative consequences of war is the loss of physical health which further affects the process of socialization during a peaceful life. At the same time, the process of restoring physical health with the help of physical culture and sports rehabilitation has not been researched enough, which confirms the relevance of the chosen topic. Objective: to determine the impact of physical culture and sports rehabilitation on the level of physical fitness of combatants. Material and methods: the research was carried out on the basis of the National Sports Complex "Olympiyskyi" in the group "Veteran Ten" during 2020-2021. The main sports competitions the combatants were preparing for were various marathons. 40 combatants who had completed their military service took part in the research. During the research, there were used the following methods: pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics. Results: During a year, combatants participated in the research in the framework of which they trained and prepared to participate in mass races. The content of the training included both running exercises and exercises aimed at developing strength qualities (mainly strength endurance), flexibility, and coordination. The level of physical fitness of combatants was tested in dynamics (before the start of training and after a year of training). The level of physical fitness of combatants was determined according to the approved tests and standards of the "Annual Assessment of Physical Fitness of the Population of Ukraine". Based on the results of the research, it was established that at the initial stage, 75% of the combatants had a low level of physical fitness, 23% had a medium level, and 2% had a sufficient level. Upon the completion of the pedagogical experiment, the level of physical fitness of the combatants improved: 33% of the combatants had a low level of physical fitness, 50% had a medium level, and 17% had a sufficient level, which demonstrates the effectiveness of training sessions as a means of physical culture and sports rehabilitation. Conclusions. The positive impact of physical culture and sports rehabilitation on the level of physical fitness of combatants was determined. With the help of the tests and standards of the "Annual Assessment of Physical Fitness of the Population of Ukraine", it was discovered that the indicators of physical fitness of the combatants at the first stage of the research were in the range from 2 to 21 and on average were (11.83; 4.49) points. In the second stage, they ranged from 11 to 24, their average physical fitness score was (11.28; 3.20) points. At the same time, 46.1% of the participants of the research got an observed increase in the indicator which turned out to be statistically significant (t=13.563; df=39; p<0.05). Therefore, it can be stated that running sessions have a positive impact on the level of physical fitness of combatants.
The purpose of the study: to determine the key principles of methodological and systematic support for the organization of an inclusive educational and training process for athletes with disabilities in karate. Materials and methods. The experts in the field of physical culture and sports participated in the study, namely: honored coach of Ukraine, honored worker of physical culture and sports of Ukraine, chairman of the Sports Committee for People with Disabilities of the Ukrainian Karate Federation, athletes with disabilities who have the status of world champions and Deaflympics champions, etc. All experts had sports (professional) experience from 5 to 20 years. To achieve the purpose of the study, the following methods were used: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, the method of expert evaluation, questionnaire surveys. Statistical analysis was performed using the methods of mathematical statistics. Expert evaluation was performed by the ranking method. The degree of agreement of the experts was determined using the Kendall’s coefficient of concordance. Results. In the course of the study, the methodological and systematic aspects of the organization of the inclusive educational and training process for athletes with disabilities in karate were determined. One of the main features in the organization of karate training sessions among people with disabilities is their nosological group. The further selection of means and methods of educational and training work depends on the nosological group. During inclusive training sessions, the greatest attention is paid to correctional and compensatory (14.6%), recreational and health (13.6%), and preventive (13.4%) work. At the same time, no less important is the solution of such a problem as the socialization of people with disabilities through sports, as a system of relationships in society. Conclusions. Properly selected methodological and systematic support affects the effectiveness of the organization of the inclusive educational and training process. This support has its own characteristics, which, firstly, depend on the nosological group, secondly, are characterized by the correct choice of means, methods, principles and functions implemented during classes, and thirdly, are aimed at the socialization of people with disabilities.
The full-scale war in Ukraine is having a significant psychological and physical impact on combatants. One of the negative consequences of war is combat stress, accompanied by the action of stress factors that negatively affect psychological and physical health, reducing the process of socialization to peaceful life. At the same time, there are not enough studies covering the solution of these issues with the help of adaptive physical culture (APC), which confirms the relevance of the chosen topic. Purpose: to determine the impact of running classes on combatants who have the consequences of combat stress. Material & Methods: the research was carried out on the basis of the National Council for Sports Rehabilitation of Defenders of Ukraine in Kyiv. It was attended by 40 combatants. The following methods were used in the course of the study: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: at the end of the pedagogical experiment, the participants in the hostilities determined the level of stress according to the "Modified method for determining the level of stress by L. Ryder", before and after running classes. Based on the data after the study, it was found that at the initial stage, 77% of combatants had a high level of stress, and 13% had an average level of stress. At stage 2, after the use of APC (within 1 year), the level of stress among combatants was reduced to 50% – medium, 50% – low, which shows the effectiveness of the use of APC (running classes). Conclusions: a study was conducted with the determination of the level of stress according to the "Modified method of the level of stress according to L. Rieder" and the positive effect of running was shown. Measures are proposed to help reduce the level of stress among combatants. The dynamics of the results indicates the stability of reducing the level of combat stress with the help of running, which confirms the expediency of organizing the training process for combatants.
