Issue handling of inadvertence situations in the decision-making process of recruiting new employees at PT. Warta Media Nusantara that use criteria value of interviews, field test, a psychological test and medical check-up requires Multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) as an auxiliary method of decision-making on the prospective eligible employee to be accepted in the company. There are various MADM methods, such as Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and Weighted Product (WP) method. Both of these methods are known as the most common method used in handling MADM issues, so in this study both methods are applied to the DSS and analyzed the differences in terms of obtained results and the execution time required for each method. The results of the study of the application of SAW and WP methods in the recruitment of new employees DSS there are some differences in the results of the candidates rank order and the differences in execution time of each method. The differences in rank order of these methods are due to the effects of alternative values, weighting criteria, and the calculation method. WP method is able to provide more rigorous result than SAW method, while the difference in execution time of SAW and WP methods explains that the execution time of SAW method relatively quick because SAW calculation method has a simpler process than the process of WP calculation methods.
AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi informasi telah berkembang pesat dalam bidang pendidikan dengan lahirnya e-learning. E-learning dapat membantu guru dalam memantau keaktifan siswa dengan penugasan, forum diskusi maupun aktivitas lain, sehingga karakter dapat dideskripsikan melalui e-learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Software Learning Management System (LMS). LMS adalah aplikasi perangkat lunak untuk kegiatan online, program pembelajaran elektronik (e-learning program) dan isi pelatihan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyelidiki respon dari siswa terhadap LMS dan menguji keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep serta mengembangkan karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan. Uji produk menggunakan Pre Experimental Design dengan jenis Pretest and Posttest One Group Design. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket uji ahli, angket tanggapan, tes tertulis dan lembar observasi karakter. Teknik analisis data uji kefektifan menggunakan uji gain. Hasil tanggapan siswa untuk keseluruhan aspek mendapatkan prosentase diatas 82,5% kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji gain pemahaman konsep sebesar 0,56 dengan kategori sedang, artinya LMS efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Sedangkan uji gain karakter 0,16 kategori rendah, artinya belum efektif mengembangkan karakter siswa. E-learning memiliki sejumlah keuntungan diantaranya peserta didik dapat saling berbagi informasi dan dapat mengakses bahanbahan belajar setiap saat dan evaluasi yang dapat mengukur pemahaman konsep siswa. Dengan kondisi seperti ini peserta didik diharapkan dapat memantapkan pemahaman konsep terhadap materi pembelajaran. E-learning dapat melatih kemandirian siswa dalam teknis dan pengalaman menggunakannya. Selain itu, elearning juga dapat membantu guru dalam memantau keaktifan siswa dengan berbagai penugasan yang diberikan, forum diskusi maupun aktivitas yang lain, sehingga karakter siswa dapat dideskripsikan melalui e-learning.Dalam [1] dituliskan bahwa e-learning yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa adalah e-learning yang mempunyai tingkat interaktifitas pengguna tinggi, yang selain menyajikan materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk file baik itu dalam format words, powerpoint, html atau PDF tapi e-learning tersebut juga mempunyai nilai lebih menu yang lebih bersifat interaktif, baik itu dalam bentuk evaluasi online
The current topic that is interesting as a solution of the impact of public service improvement toward vehicle is License Plate Recognition (LPR), but it still needs to develop the research of LPR method. Some of the previous researchs showed that K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) succeed in car license plate recognition. The Objectives of this research was to determine the implementation and accuracy of Otsu Method toward license plate recognition. The method of this research was Otsu method to extract the characteristics and image of the plate into binary image and KNN as recognition classification method of each character. The development of the license plate recognition program by using Otsu method and classification of KNN is following the steps of pattern recognition, such as input and sensing, pre-processing, extraction feature Otsu method binary, segmentation, KNN classification method and post-processing by calculating the level of accuracy. The study showed that this program can recognize by 82% from 100 test plate with 93,75% of number recognition accuracy and 91,92% of letter recognition accuracy.
Curriculum 2013 provides the opportunity for students to promote learning invites students to actively participate in learning activities, and fun for the learning activity. Lessons are taught by teachers also need to instill the character of the nation based on the principles of Pancasila. This is very important considering the development of information in the era of globalization led to the decline of morality in students, degradation students’ behaviour and identity of Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of inquiry-based multicultural learning using traditional games in improving the student’s character. The results showed that the average grade higher than the grade experiment control with t-count at 16.0992 to 1.9944 T-Table (df = 70, α = 5%) therefore t-count > t-table then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded from this study that multicultural education through inquiry-based traditional games can improve students’ character.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a technique for detecting a defect in an object without causing damage. NDT technology can be utilized in the arts for inspection purposes. The NDT technique that can be used for the inspection of art pottery is digital X-ray radiography. It can inspect until the contents inside the art pottery without causing damage. To obtain a high quality of watermarked art pottery image using digital radiography, the radiation exposure factors should be optimized. In this work, optimization was done by varying the voltage, current, and exposure distance. Then, the radiography images were analysed using Contrast to Noise Ratio (CNR). From the analysis, it can be determined that the optimum exposure factors are 60 kV of voltage, 16 mA of current, and 100 cm of exposure distance.
