Along with the rapid development of technology in the industrial world, the need for electrical energy is also increasing. PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa is a state-owned company (BUMN) that helps provide and deal with various electricity problems in the surrounding area. Steps taken by this company in maintaining the safety and comfort of using electrical energy is to carry out regular checks at the customer's home. However, this step is deemed ineffective because the customer may not be at home during the checking. In addition, checking manually can also cause errors when recording the KWH meter, so that this can cause losses to the customer and the company. Therefore, PT. PLN (Persero) introduced a new system, namely the Automatic MeterReading (AMR) system. With this system, companies can read KWH meters remotely and automatically so that there are no more errors in recording KWH meters. However, the use of the system must be balanced with a good communication network. Several areas in Sumbawa still have difficulties in accessing the communication network, causing several disturbances to occur in the system. With the existence of various previous problems, a research was conducted to observe the types of disturbances as well as efforts to prevent and deal with disturbances in the KWH Meter system at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa uses the Fishbone and PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) methods.
Human Resources (HR) is an important element in a company. For this reason, HR must be properly maintained as an invaluable asset in the company. A good company will provide facilities to maintain the safety and comfort of HR. Companies usually will provide guidelines for working in a company that have been standardized so that the job becomes easy to do. These guidelines are often referred to as occupational health and safety (K3) guidelines. One of the companies implementing K3 is PT. PLN (Persero) Sumbawa. Such a great threat can occur in this company due to the vast work field that there are several high work risks such as falling from a height or being electrocuted. Due to high hazards, risk management is needed which includes hazard identification to determine risks that give rise to occupational accident hazards, analyze potential hazards, assess risks, and make recommendations to reduce the occurrence of work accidents. So it is necessary to conduct research to identify and suggest improvements to working conditions to minimize hazards. This study uses the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), which is a method used to identify and analyze hazards so that the processes that take place in a system can run smoothly and safely.
Research has an important role in the world of education and is useful in obtaining new knowledge from a product. The role of this research provides benefits to the CV tofu factory. Ikhwanudin in JorokSumbawa Besar Village to produce tofu with better quality and selling value than before. The large number of industrial competitors requires Pak Ikhwanudin to be able to choose good quality soybeans as the raw material for making tofu. Good tofu has the criteria of a dense texture, does not have a sour smell, has a perfect appearance, and has a good taste. The quality of the tofu varies greatly due to different clumping materials and different manufacturing processes. Tofu is produced by utilizing the properties of protein, which will clot when reacting with acids. One of the research methods used in this research is the Voice of Customer (VoC) method. Quality control with this method is carried out by identifying the types of product defects / defects so that in the end, the defects can be minimized and through the voice of consumers, the producers will know what the shortcomings of tofu products have been sold so that they can be used as improvements in the future.
Di dunia industri yang semakin maju membuat para pelaku industri semakin berkompetitif dalam bersaing. Dalam persaingan dunia industri harus bisa mengatur sistem manjemennya dengan baik agar bisa dapat bersaing dengan industri lainnya. Masalah yang terjadi di home industry UD. Prasetya Rangga adalah terjadi ketidaksesuaian antara beban kerja dan jumlah pekerja yang mengakibatkantidak efisiensinya kerja juga peningkatan beban kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur waktu normal sebagai acuan perhitungan beban kerja sebagai dasar perhitungan jumlah tenaga kerja sekaligus membuat alur produksi. Metode yang digunakan FTE (Full Time Equivalent) untuk melakukan evaluasi kebutuhan tenaga kerja. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa beban kerja yang diterima pada departemen pengadonan dan pencetakan yaitu 35%, pada departemen pengovenan yaitu 146%, beban kerja pada departemen packing yaitu 39%. Dari hasil perhitungan metode FTE kebutuhan tenaga kerja yang optimal pada UD. Prasetya Rangga bagian produksi departemen pengadonan dan pencetakan jumlah tenaga kerja usulan adalah 1 orang sedangkan aktualnya adalah sebanyak 2 orang. Kemudian pada departemen pengovenan jumlah tenaga kerja usulan adalah 2 orang sedangkan aktualnya adalah 1 orang dan pada departemen packing jumlah tenaga kerja usulan adalah 1 orang sedangkan aktualnya adalah 2 orang.
