ResumenEl artículo describe y analiza el estado de la investigación en educación ambiental en América Latina a partir de la revisión de los artículos publicados en revistas de educación indexadas en Scielo y Redalyc en el periodo comprendido entre 2000 y 2013. Se construyó una base de datos a partir del año en que fue publicado el artículo, el nombre de la revista, el resumen, el país y la metodología empleada en el estudio. Los resultados permiten observar que, a pesar del gran auge que ha tenido el desarrollo de programas y experiencias en educación ambiental en la región, son pocos los artículos que exploran de manera sistemática su efectividad en la formación de las personas. Se discuten las estrategias metodológicas de las que se valen los investigadores para evaluar el impacto de los programas de educación ambiental en América Latina y la importancia de investigar sobre la evidencia que pueda obtenerse sobre su efectividad. AbstractThis article describes and analyzes the state of research in environmental education in Latin America based on the review of articles published in journals of education indexed in SciELO and Redalyc from 2000 to 2013. A database was constructed considering the year in which the article was published, the name of the journal, the abstract, the country and the methodology used in the study. The results evidence that despite the boom of programs and experiences in environmental education in the region, there are few articles that explore systematically their effectiveness in educating people. We discuss the methodological strategies that researchers use to assess the impact of environmental education programs in Latin America and the importance of researching the evidence that can be obtained on their effectiveness. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar los efectos de dos programas profesionales de una institución de educación superior en Colombia, a partir de la estructura de los microcurrículos de formación, sobre el consumo de agua y evaluar los efectos multiplicadores de los estudiantes en sus hogares. El método incluye en su primera dimensión de análisis, a un estudio del currículo formal y en su dimensión de análisis de individuos, a un estudio descriptivo ex post facto con diseño de solo post test. La ambientalización curricular en los programas evaluados es baja. En cuanto al consumo del servicio público de agua no se evidencian diferencias significativas entre los estudiantes encuestados. Futuras investigaciones deben profundizar en elementos particulares del currículo sobre la conservación del agua, así como contar con registros más amplios de consumo energía, reciclaje y otras prácticas de consumo.
This article develops a review of the brand concept, its value and its meaning, taking on account two of the main perspectives of consumer psychology. From a cognitive perspective, we present the central concepts that explain the way in which people develop a set of ideas and concepts about the brand, which involve a variety of meanings and valuations. In the other hand, from the behavioral perspective, the central concepts corresponding to the learning processes of the brands are presented, identifying how the consequences of the behavior of choice and the strategies of communication generate associative and operant learning, which explain the brand's value for individuals. For this purpose, the basic components of the BPM are reviewed, indicating their applications to the understanding of the brand meaning in the market context. Finally, this work is emphasizes the need to integrate methodologies in order to get more complete approximations in the comprehension of consumer's behavior.

Mainstream views have traditionally explained the phenomenon of equivalence in terms of operant processes. We suggest that the emergence of equivalence classes can be sufficiently explained by classical conditioning processes alone, thereby questioning the role of reinforcers in the acquisition of derived relational responses. College students were exposed to one of two types of respondent trainings, namely, a Respondent-Type procedure and a respondent matching to sample (MTS) procedure. Performances in equivalence tests following A-B and A-C trainings were analyzed for each group. Results show high accuracy of emergent responses in both groups with higher performances for participants trained using the respondent MTS procedure. Theoretical interpretations of function transfer and their implications on understanding the behavior of organisms are discussed.
