No attempt was made to use an internal standard technique or electronic integration.Samples 3 and 4 in Table III illustrate how different eluting conditions can be used for the same separation. In sample 3, a higher pH and lower alcohol concentration is used. At this condition, the K¿ values are 13 and 25, re-spectively. The K¿ values and corresponding retention times can be reduced while still obtaining the separation by lowering the pH and increasing the alcohol concentration (see Sample 4).
