The study aims to reveal the existence of the traditional pesantren education system (salaf) in shaping the morals of students in the midst of modernizing education. Traditional Islamic boarding schools are currently till a reference for the community, even thousands of people who participate in activities held by traditional pesantren, such as recitation and istighosah. The method used in this study was a case study using a qualitative research approach. This research had the subject of the kyai, teacher, male student, and female student at the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, OKU, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. This study was analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s data analysis techniques : data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion and verification. This study found that the resilience of the pesantren education system in shaping the morals of students in the era of globalization had strong endurance and continuity because it has four system functions. First, the system of adaptation to the pesantren education environment is carried out with a twenty-four-hour education pattern to shape the students' morals. Second, Islamic boarding schools have educational goals to shape the personality of students who have noble characters. Third, the integration of pesantren has integrated both the institutional system and the curriculum. Fourth, there is the maintenance of the cultural pattern (latency) of the value system in the pesantren.
The article analyzed the values of education character that contained in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim by Al-Zarnuji, especially (1) reveal and identify the exposure of character education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim, (2) describe the relevance of the values of character education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim with character education in Indonesia. This type of research was qualitative research. This research uses the method of literature study, library research (library research). The primary data source is the Ta'limul Muta'allim book. Data collection techniques are carried out and processed with documentation in the form of writing, pictures, or monumental works from someone. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the values of character education in the book of Ta'limul Muta'allim include: active in learning, honest, intelligent, increasing knowledge, avoiding mutual hostility, choosing friends, humility, deliberation, loving nature, patient and persevering. (2) The relevance of the value of character education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim with the value of character education in Indonesia contains the cultivation of values which include religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, spirit of nationalism, love for the homeland, respect for achievements, friendly/communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care about social, and responsibility Keywords: Education Character, Education Character Program, Analysis T'alimul Muta'alim
One indicator of success in achieving educational goals can be seen from student learning outcomes during learning and learning activities. Student achievement in learning outcomes cannot be separated from various factors that affect learning itself. Factors that affect student learning outcomes include internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are one of the factors that come from within students because in the teaching and learning process students are the main target. This research is quantitative research with the type of ex-post facto which aims to determine whether there is an influence of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education. Data were obtained by observation, questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. The findings are that: First; From the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the regression coefficient of emotional intelligence and learning outcomes is obtained by the regression equation Y=34,174+ 0,520X. Second, learning motivation has a significant effect on PAI learning outcomes. From the results of hypothesis testing, the equation Y= 38.067+ 0.493X . Third, emotional intelligence and learning motivation together have a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious at Vocational High School Mitra Bhakti, Bandar Sribhawono. From the calculation of multiple linear regression (multiple) obtained equation ==25,306+0,406X1+0,250X2. The constant 25,306 describes the magnitude of learning outcomes if it is influenced by emotional intelligence and learning motivation. The regression coefficient0.406 describes the magnitude of the increase in learning outcomes, if accompanied by emotional intelligence variables, while the regression coefficient b2of 0.250 describes the magnitude of the increase in learning outcomes if accompanied by learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to find out the problems of learning carried out remotely or online for elementary school students in Adiwarno Village, Batanghari District, East Lampung Regency. Methods This research used a qualitative approach and the informants in this study were elementary school students, parents of elementary school students and elementary school teachers. Data were collected through interviews. This study concludes that: learning that is carried out remotely or commonly referred to as online learning has a negative impact as well as a positive impact on students, teachers and even parents. Not a few students complain about being bored in online learning, teachers complain about ineffective learning and parents complain about being unprepared to accompany their children to study at home.
