Synthesis of new series of chromen-2-one-1,2,3-Triazoles (6a-6j) was reported using the help of key methods such as [3+2]-cycloaddition and ultrasound. All compounds were further evaluated for their in vitro anticancer activity profile in three human cancer cell lines MCF-7(breast), A-549 (lungs), and HeLa (cervical). Among all, three compounds namely 6c, 6f, and 6j showed the most promising activity against three lines, when compared with the etoposide.
The present study was an attempt to formulate and evaluate enteric coated tablets for esomeprazole magnesium dihydrate. Different core tablets were prepared and formulation was selected for further enteric coating, based on the disintegration time. Seal coating was applied to achieve 3% weight gain.Enteric coating was carried out using different polymers like hydroxyl propyl methylcellulose phthalate to achieve 5% weight gain. Disintegration studies showed that the formulations failed in 0.1 N HCl media. Hence the quantity of enteric coating was increased to 8% w/w. In vitro analysis of the developed tablets was carried out. Results from disintegration time and dissolution rate studies indicate that all the esomeprazole enteric tablets prepared possess good integrity, desirable for enteric coated tablets.
A simple new spectrophotometric method has been developed for estimation of Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in bulk and tablet dosage form. Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate is estimated to be 261 nm in triple distilled water. The Beer′s law is obeyed in the concentration range of 5 -90 µg/ml of the drug. The slope and intercept values are 0.0109 and 0.1075, respectively. Results of analysis of this method have been validated statically and by recovery studies. The method is applied to the marketed tablet formulation. A result of the analysis of tablet formulation, given as a percentage of label claim ± standard deviation is 98.15 ± 0.76. The precision and accuracy has been examined by performing recovery studies and found to be 100.06 ± 1.24. The developed method is simple, sensitive, and reproducible, and can be used for the routine analysis of Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in bulk and tablet dosage form.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
