Employers' feedback on graduates' work productivity is critical for instructional designers, developers, and academic educators to produce new ideas for how graduates may fulfill their duties as citizens of dynamically varying companies. The findings of this study will be used to evaluate the automotive technology program and the basis for graduates' performance at work as it corresponds to technical practitioners, organizational skills, and customer service skills. The Sequential Mixed Method Design was used in the process of this study. The researcher utilized purposive sampling because the participants were determined with 42 employers and 88 LSPU-CIT automotive technology graduates from various firms that were the study's respondents. The researchers used a self-created survey-type questionnaire and a focus group discussion (FGD) interview guide to test the instrument's validity and reliability.Furthermore, respondents were asked to fill out a survey regarding how they rated a graduate's performance, and FGD was held to gain a broad and deep understanding of CIT Graduates' situations in their companies. Following the collection of all meaningful data, an experimental design was used. The findings revealed that the degree of feedback across employers in three domains was undeniable from the employers' perspective, as agreed in the in-depth conversation with the selected companies.
Background: Sports are featured in the curriculums of state universities and colleges (SUCs). The Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) shines in sports competition throughout Region IV, and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) varsity athletes are actively engaging in this sports competition. Nevertheless, during the previous decade, the CAS had been routinely rated third to fifth in intramurals. Objectives: The researcher wish to ascertain the embodiment of CAS student athletes' experiences in sports involvement and academic performances to discover the significance of participation in sports and academic performance of students. The findings serve as the foundation for crafting Student Intervention Program. Methods: The descriptive survey approach was used to a total of 30 varsity players in CAS from the 5 programs. The Cronbach alpha was utilized to assess the overall consistency of the self-made instrument and was carried out to CAS students belong to the varsity team using an internet web service. Results: It was established that the student-athletes felt that all the assertions were evaluated as great in the university, especially in CAS, indicating satisfaction with the university's operations. Consequently, athletes excel in both athletics and academics. Conclusion: It was notably that CAS varsity players were deemed to be great by the student-athletes. Respondents were happy with the university's procedures as viewed and experienced in prior sports competitions held not just within the LSPU System but also at the Regional STRASUC or even National SCUAA. Students participating in sports are much more likely to excel academically.
Physical education (PE) is a crucial component of a well-rounded education because it equips the holistic aspects of the students required to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are urged to integrate technology and improve their digital skills in response to the changing overall trend and issues in the educational system. The service physical education course in college refers to four (4) topics required in the first four (4) semesters, which includes Physical Education- Rhythmic Activities. In line with this, the researcher was inspired to develop a video-based learning material for first-year students. The research study aimed to evaluate the developed learning materials by parts and characteristics. The researcher utilized the method of descriptive-evaluative research design and a self-made survey type-questionnaire was employed through an online web provider with a total of 130 students’ respondents with the used of purposive sampling. The validation and reliability of the questionnaire were also utilized and showed the 0.8284 Cronbach alpha which was good. The learning material was described by the respondents in terms of learning objective, content, and application. On the other hand, the evaluation of the learning materials in terms of usability, consistency, versatility, and aesthetic value was observed by the respondents. The findings illustrated that the overall assessment of the students’ respondents in all indicators on the Video-Based Learning Materials are highly acceptable based on their experiences while they are using the materials. This can be utilized by the 1st year students of Higher Education Institutions, revisions still consider in the development of the learning material, and validation may be done on the level of difficulty of the applications and simulations.
